Mario Tennis the GBA version? Man, would I love a 3DS version.
Still cool. I never played the GBA version before.
There is a Mario Tennis game on the 3DS. It's Mario Tennis Open that was released a year or two back. Is that what you were asking for? Or did you just want the GBA version on the 3DS?
Kinda wish my game, as well as the 3 or so other hidden indie games that got released today were featured on the front page. Having only 1 game on front page from release, and another that just shows a icon for link to new releases is slightly disappointing. Would have been nice to have gotten more exposure at least at launch. I'm not asking for top-of-page ad obviously, something at the bottom would be be good.
(I don't actually know how well the game is doing yet, won't know that till tomorrow, so my comment above is unrelated to any sales/etc.)

Wishing you the best of luck, but I think the reality is that with five or six indies out in one week, there's only so much Nintendo can put on the front page. With that said, games have shown up on the front page after release on occasion, so who's to say.

At the very least I saw some reviews/impressions of your game on some Nintendo related sites. The links from gonintendo to these sites were only for your game and Armillo too.

Dr. Luigi is a fairly average Dr. Mario game with one decent new mode if you're a fan of that series.
A lot of the best DD-only games are cross-platform indies.

The GBA version with the RPG mode and everything in beautifully rendered 16-bit sprites!
Maybe it will have a less crowded launch in Europe.

So, I bought Kung Fu Rabbit for the Wii U because I saw it so often recommended by maxcriden and I'm really enjoying it. Thanks for the recommendation!

The lack of self-awareness is astounding, yes.
To be honest when I read the name I thought it's some kind of casino game or something. Seeing it, I think a casino game would have been more appealing for me.
Blok drop was incredibly mediocre and poorly put together. There's no level select and there's almost no variety.
I don't know why I keep it installed.
Gulatica, inform us a much as you can when you receive the first infos on sales of your game. In the case, post them in the eShop charts thread as well

Terrible timing for release. I bought Armillo, Kung Fu Rabbit, and Mario Tennis GBA yesterday. First time I've bought an eShop game in a month.

Was an excellent game(s) on iOS, but I only paid, I think, a buck for each title. Still one of the better series available on iOS. Cute characters, fun and inventive gameplay, but I'm not sure I would enjoy it as much with the stylus as just using my finger on the iPhone screen. Is it a $15 game? Hmm...I don't think I would pay that much for it. But again, it's a very high-quality game for what it is (if it's essentially the same as the two games from iOS).

Mine has sold "ok" so far. Lack of front page and big release week made sales low so far. Hopefully people will come around and get ZaciSa's Last Stand eventually.

Nintendo is pretty good with cycling what's on the front page. In Nintendo's defense, Armillo and Guacamelee were two big releases so it's natural that they would get front page spots. Good that your effort sold "ok", as you said. Hopefully, as Colonel said, Nintendo will put it on the front page soon enough.
P.S. Can all you devs give advices to Nintendo teams that manage eShop? 'Cause the last part of your post is definitely something that should be fixed. I.e. Nintendo should do a better job in informing devs about games releasing on a specific day.

Yea that was the most eShop games being released on the same day I think ever, sales for your game and his game will prob pick up once people get aware of whats all out. Plus some really big eshop games like Shovel Knight and Guacamelee just got released, once people want other stuff they will find them.

For most part, I'm actually ok with the sales so far and know things will pick up eventually.
What I'm actually disappointed in, is how empty my miiverse page is.
Obvious fix to that is to encourage people to post their high scores after each game over in next patch.
Doesn't help that some posts are just random spam by kids.. Oh well, those posts will be removed soon enough lol

GulAtiCa, Nintendo are apparently really good with indies these days. I'm sure if you contacted them you could discuss your game's prominence on the eShop.
At the very least, your concerns would be brought to their attention, and should you ever wish to offer a discount or release another game in the future they'll likely best you in mind when updating the front page that week.
I wouldn't take it too personally. If your game is good the reviews and word of mouth will sell it for you.

GulAtiCa, do you have an official Mii? Some of the other indie devs post general info and/or review scores to advertise their games. This seems to be a good way to make people who click on the Posts from Verified Users section on Miiverse aware of your project!
That Poker game just doesn't look interesting at all to me. It just looks bland all the way through.

The game itself is alright for a tower defense game, but some polish work with the UI would definitely have made it stand out (although I have no idea if there are others in the genre on the eShop).

Scram Kitty, Armillo, NES Remix 1+2, and there's some other really good stuff that's not exclusive.
Yeah. For what it's worth, I did enjoy Blok Drop U quite a bit, but I had some patience for its flaws given that it was a dev's first-ever release and it came out during a real dry period. For the guy to crank out a pretty ugly looking game just months later, that's just disappointing. That way shovelware lies. I have heard the new poker game is pretty fun, though.

I think your game will have some good legs given that the genre is popular but completely unserved on the Wii U. Once word of mouth catches on, I could see sales getting a boost. Part of that is getting that Miiverse community some life, as you said. Part of me wonders if people even know it is a tower defence game, given that there's no real hints about that in the title or screenshots. (I do love the look of the game, by the way!)
I have a MiiVerse account for my company, but not approved yet. I dumbly did that kinda late.
But already posting and will use the community to best of my use to keep active with everyone.
At least I can say I haven't been asked when Minecraft is coming yet.

That's really weird. It was in stock this morning when I went to check for a digital code, so I wonder if they had a really small amount. I doubt it's that popular (the OT is so quiet...) so who knows.
Lack of code is really odd, too, I expected a 24.99 code, saving me a fiver on the eShop price, but alas.

That's the price I was expecting their DD codes to be too, I have £6 in reward points which would've hypothetically taken it down to £19.
So now, the £29 eShop price seems steep.
I'll wait to see if Game get it up over the weekend..... nice OT btw!
