In other news, how can someone's team that won be salty? This thread is certainly more entertaining than Costa Rica's game plan.

I think it's mostly people that watch football as spectators. They want to see an open game going back to back for spectacle.

True football fans will appreciate the effort and discipline that CRC put in tonight.

Against a overwhelming opponent they held out till the bitter end and could have even won in the 116 minute.

It's a game impossible to predict. They without Di Maria, we with exhausted players. They have Messi, We have Robben. Messi is always super dangerous and often, not always, finds a way to slip through.

Argentina plays similarly to the European teams, which is why I fear them because they are good plus they've got Messi as a bonus. Di Maria out is a huge blow though, contain Messi and gg.

The wild west football you saw yesterday which is perceived as entertaining between Colombia and Brazil is the result of shit organization. Ger will crush Brazil in terms of play and Muller will score two.

As for the generally lowered match tempo, that's due to wheather conditions such as high humidity. Not the fault of teams, but external conditions.

So it's weaker in the back, but not that much as the popular voice seems to be. If it was we would be out already.

It's true we haven't conceded many goals. They're playing better than their standings suggest. Still, I don't believe for a second the likes of Vlaar and De Vrij won't be heavily tested by Messi and Higuain.
