Heh, I wonder how many people just remember Agitha as the 'bug lady' then XD
There's always going to be some level of variation on which characters resound with people so I guess I'm glad that Midna gets a lot of love, main character or not.
Some people not remembering Agitha is much like me not remembering Micau; in hindsight a rocking zora with a guitar should be pretty memorable but the poor fish left literally no impression or memory on me whatsoever, where as I still remember the postman, the guy who plays song of storms (literally the only thing he does, aside from teach you said song), ruto (all she does is get carried by you), malon, talon, the poe collector, etc. Fairly ordinary by comparison yet somehow they all come to mind easily compared to the more unusual guitarist. It's odd but interesting

You may not remember Mikau, but you certainly remember Zora Link, no? Mikau, Darunia and the deku butler's son are just a way to get the different versions of Link from MM in the game.

people sometimes skip side quests in Zelda but the bugs were all over Twilight Princess hard to miss them but Agitha has a little harder to find in Castle Town if you were not into exploring. Not sure why anyone would play a Zelda without exploring
But Midna was in your face for most of the game you could say playable when she rode Wolf Link, or in fred's case she had a nice butt
for whatever reason you can't forget Midna if you played TP
The ending also helped remember her that is why so many expect her other form to show up in this game

Outside of her adorable getup I think I also just enjoyed sitting and listening to the music in her 'castle' too.

Am I the only one that thinks that Midna is quite the hornbat..? In Twilight Princess when you first wake up as the wolf you get quite a good look at her nice arse. Well I wouldn't kick her out lol.
Maybe I need to get out more...
One other great thing about her is that if you end up going out with her, because of her small impy form, any homemade porn videos are going to make you look hung like a fucking horse lmfao.

Haha, well she's the bug lady to me. I rememeber one-off characters a lot more. Like the Wind Waker shopkeeper, Beedle. He doesn't really have any characterization, but he's got those voice effects. Man. And, of course, WW's sploosh guy. And the Poe guy from OOT. I dunno, maybe I just didn't play Twilight Princess enough for Agitha to stand out. I remember her now, but that's after looking her up again. It's weird how Zelda NPCs work. One of the cool features of Zelda games is they make practically every NPC have some interesting personality.

She seems to be saying some actual words this time, so maybe they had to change her voice? Could even be the same VA since in TP, her voice is heavily modified.

I will probably end up getting quite a few more PS2 games in the series as well. Couple of PSP ones as well it seems and even DS/3DS ones.
My main goal was to get all the current gen ones and work my way back from there.
I really like Strikeforce as well, that's why I bought the Japanese only sequel Multi Raid 2 as well.
Not sure how those titles did, but I would love to see a PS4/Vita sequel to them being made in the future.

Akiko Koumoto's voice was run through the audio engineering equivalent of a woodchipper. That's what made it awesome. The only thing they need to do is get the same model of woodchipper and Miss Koumoto and get to shredding. No need for complete words or understandable sentences.

I know I lot of people may have thought it was Zelda at first before they played it
but even the trailers kinda spoiled it.
If Hyrule Warriors is to work as they want it to they need at least 4-5 Zelda main casts in the game TP has a bunch now, maybe the devs loved TP but we see Skywards Mojoras Oot already showing up so for fans it will be like trivia some really forgettable characters will show up they just have to remember playing those titles

New voice is annoying, mainly cause all attacks use the same 2 clips.
Pretty sure it'd be the same with her original voice clips. Honestly, new voice doesn't bother me, though I do admit I'm fond of the Zelda "gibberish"... especially Fi's.

Midna is probably the best new character Nintendo has put out in the past decade and a half. She was so integral to putting personality into that game.
It's a damned shame we never got Wolf Link/Midna in Super Smash Brothers, though. This feels kinda like a pity pop. =\
