Speaking of NZ, still no retailer with the Ghost/Limited Editions up. I'll be keeping my eyes on EBGames and MightyApe all day to get that shit ASAP.

That's nuts! I'm waiting for the Guardian Digital Edition to be up on the store, looks like it'll be a few days.
I'm hearing mixed reports about being able to cancel digital pre orders though :/

I didn't notice any "push to talk" option in the alpha, if that's what you're asking. Bungie did that before in Halo 3, and if Destiny had proximity chat, it probably would have been implemented in some form too (although there isn't any space left on the control schemes).
I mean like a noise gate, where your mic auto-mutes if you're not talking.

Been checking their website continuously for the last half an hour. They even have the banner up for the Limited Edition. Ghost Edition is nowhere to be seen :| I'm getting worried.

She may need to get in quick, seems like this one will actually be limited after all. I'd say message her if Aus don't have it up by the end of the day.

So it seems like the digital LE has the best value. The only thing is miss is the steel case. Otherwise the post cards, notes, etc I usually beer get anything out of them. But the DLC expansions would be good I think

I was thinking more like lunch time! EB usually have their act together when it comes to selling a product, so they would push that Ghost Edition hard if it was available.
I will say this:
I rarely get LE's of games, if ever, but the best I ever obtained was Halo Reach's just Limited Edition and not their Legendary holy moly edition.
That thing alone had this journal packed in it that had tons of well written back story as a character from the Halo universe. Amazing details like coffee cup rings, torn out pages, etc. It was a really believable piece to have, and it looks like a great thing to put up on a book shelf.
With that said Bungie has strictly reserved within my heart an automatic always limited or higher editions on their games from now on. The amount of love and detail they place into things is just unheard of.
I hope that persuades you to the dark side of a Ghost Edition or Limited Edition physical copy.

On closer inspection, the NZ EB Games site is using the Australian rating system on their box. I suppose Aus EB are just taking it slow on this cold Tuesday morning.

Man auto correct attacked my post something fierce. My favorite of theirs is still the halo 2 steel book edition. Best steel case ever.
My only hesitation for the LE is if I want to disc swap to play destiny or quickly just boot up digitally. If it has daily challenges and stuff digital seems to be more convenient. But I like display cases on shelves...

Just ordered the ghost edition from game! I might also get the digital version for the conveniance. Does anyone know if the bonuses in game stuff from the ghost edition can appear on my digital game? So, are the bonuses accoint bound?

Just imo not worth getting a PS4 yet, at least not to just play Destiny which is really the only thing that id play on it right now lol. And it sucks too because its not even like i dont have PS+ or XBL so thats not even the reason, just a)dont have the money to get the PS4 right now and b) like i said to me its not really worth it for the current games on there so thats why i was was gonna play it on the PS3. Because if you think about it if lets say like an overwhelming majority of people play the game on next gen and there is no cross-plat play then the world and community on the 360 and PS3 will just fall apart with no people to play, i dont know if they would let that happen. So now home from the hospital. Nothing like waiting while a loved one has surgery. I have to say I love the CEs but would love making off stuff in them. I really hate that there does not appear to be any of that. I'm also glad as hell to see these actually be limited. Noticed Amazon apparently sold out of the PS4 ghost edition.
Not going to lie though and I hate that they're having exclusive DLC in the DLC packs. That's not cool at all. I hate it when other developers do it and I hate it that Bungie is doing it.
Other then that Can't wait for the Beta. Hopefully I'll be playing it on both PS4/Xbone.

Yeah it's bloody awful, I waited too. Thankfully for me, I just got the receipt from my sister in NZ for the Ghost Edition. It may come late, but I have the digital standard edition for launch.
Maybe ask someone nicely from NZ GAF if they could order one for you and send it over? It might be the only option for us.

Nah its not worth the hassle TBH - especially since i am all the way out in Perth. Going to march into EB and say i got called to upgrade my edition to a ghost edition and see if that works otherwise i will find another way...
