Who knows. This is still a game that is releasing in the first year of the console cycle. I can't fathom what Driveclub 2 will look like. For all we know the sequel would hit 60 fps.

When they showed it off to the press they had a GTR sitting in their parking lot with a DRIVECLUB logo on it. That hasn't been officially seen in the game as of yet. But it at least indicates that there could be some Japanese presence in the lineup.
 
The lack of outrage towards there not being a high bitrate downloadable versions of these videos yet is highly disappointing, Gaf has grown soft smh

I'm still not convinced on the gameplay holding my interest but it does look damn amazing.
 
I drove by a town filled with powerlines a few months back and the powerlines were jagged as fuck lol. Might be because the windshield distorting them but it was a holy shit moment. True story.

I think I live for posts like these. As someone who is getting an Xbox One just for FH2, I can tell you the true meaning of impartiality: FH2 ain't got shit on this game, graphically. I'm getting Horizon for the open world and and car selection.

It's a good exercise, kids, when you know your strengths and weaknesses and then accept them.

This under the table fanboyism disguised as constructive criticism is really getting old, especially because you people seem to think we can't see it.
 
Looks unbelievable, but it's an absolute travesty that weather effects aren't launching with the game.

In the Playstation Access interview they mentioned that they'd only started implementing it a few weeks before E3. So this is still a very early version of the weather system.

DC is a arcade racer for a wide audience, they want everyone to have fun. A game that requires 60 fps and twitch reflexes is not fun for most. Look elsewhere for something made for ocd gaming gods.

That is some insane level of graphics I have ever seen. Just incredible. The photo mode would be ridiculous.

Massive amount of crow has been served to those who doubted Evo on their polishing skills at the end of dev cycle.
 
The Fight Night R3/Gears of War moment where you realize this is truly next gen and blows away anything you've seen so far.

This is by far the best looking game to date. Holy shit

Is it though? You still don't get weather at release, and the only actual reason given for the delay that I've seen was for the dynamic menus.

I think the GAF post about how DriveClub now has weather, and that OT title will make people think weather is available on day one when it won't be.
