In all honesty, this was always going to be a tough ask of Brazil. Having 3 days to retool your team to play without your offensive and defensive stars after not really looking all that in sync to begin with? I'm no soccer fan but that would be rough for any team in any sport. Germany seems like an incredibly tough matchup to face under those conditions as well, given their adaptable playstyle that doesn't rely on any one particular player.
