Both Holland and Argentina will play defense as well, with more deadly players up front then Ghana, USA or Algeria...

And we proved that we could handle oppositions like this. Thats what my post was about. Our defence is not made of amateurs.

Real talk though: Win or lose, I do hope tonight's match is more entertaining and evenly matched than last night's. As much fun as seeing that meltdown was, it was rather boring for the remaining 70 minutes.

my fucking sides

I need some new ones

Why does Fred get all the abuse? The defense fucked it up

It seems like Zico was right after all. Brazilians are bad losers, no sportsmanship. Instead of admitting defeat and just dealing with it, they go hardcore scapegoating and victim blaming. As if Fred could turn the ship by scoring a goal or two.

Like some other Brazilian footballers, Fred will be cursed for the of his life, poor soul. :(

I wonder what has to happen in order to get a more entertaining match :D

Yes!

I get what "AJ" means. After the 5:0 the suspense was just dead. It was a clear as water that germany will win. a closer game until the last minute would have been more entertaining, but my heart could not have taken that :-D So thank god germany just put speed mode into action to get into the final :D

@AJ: Just light it up :-P The german team will make a stop at Amsterdam airport on their way back, to show your country the marvelous trophy :P

Which opposition like Argentina or Holland though?

I dont know if you have seen all the German matches, but the US, Algeria and France were incredibly compentent in defence on a tactical level. That was a great preperation of what to expect. We wont be surprised by our opponent in the final and its good to know that we could beat bus parking teams as well as balanced and attacking squads.

Hey, we'll have Robben bring it to the Bayern lockerroom one day so you can shine it for us and think of your 7-1 victory against Brasil, please understand. :D

Oh my god did that yesterday actually happen? Still can't believe it.
I will remember this day for the rest of my life. What a great night in the bar. We didn't even have time to drink because we had to cheer all the time.

Yesterdays second half was rather boring. Brazil started with a little bit of attacking at least. Some training practice for Neuer to show his good form. After that tropical storm it was just Germany passing away this game and scoring two goals in the process. Saving the most beautiful one of the night for last. First half was great though, that shock effect.

Match day nerves kicking in. I really hope we reach the final, we need to come home with that damn cup for once.

Western Europe teams like Germany, England and Netherlands fare much better against bus parking teams due to their stronger players and better physical condition. Except against Italy.

Last time one of those teams won a title was in 1996.
France, Greece, Italy and Spain dominated since that era.....

time for Germany or Netherlands to bring European football where it belongs, like in the 80s and 90s.

Question for Brazilian fans, what was the deal behind the booing of Fred in particular? Was it just for his semi final performance or a culmination of factors leading up to that? Seems a bit harsh to single him out for that game when someone like David Luiz was abominable.

Yes but they don't have Robben, RvP, Huntelaar, Messi, Higuain up front to score.

Yes it's a shame that an ace goal like Schürrle's second one has been overlooked because the outcome of the match had been decided long before... It's the kind of goal that could get people jump around in joy, but yesterday it was "oh look, another goal... do you think they'll go for an 8th ?"

Yo, it's just a game.

As a matter of fact I was always rooting for Germany. My heart was broken not because Brazil was losing, but because I felt empathy for that old guy.

Speaking about an eight goal, even in this game Ozil managed to bottle a big chance and indirecty gifted Brazil their one goal by doing so.

Well Robben is currently under contract at a little german club called FC Bayern München, which happens to have loads of german players...I guess they know Robben and his little antics very well ;-)

We stopped, Ronaldo, Benzema, Hulk, Oscar, KPB, etc.
Again, our defence with Neuer, Lahm, Boateng, Hummels, Höwedes and Schweinsteiger is good enough to stop any player. Your argumets are getting a bit daft now. Pls understand.

Only Ronaldo is Robben / Messi category on that list

And Ronaldo didnt have a whole team playing for him like Robben and Messi do.

Pls understand you don't understand football

How did that help Dante last night?

I really hope Argentina won't crush the dream tonight. I can get used to enjoying world cups all the way to the final by now.

And an all Euro final in South America would be a glorious thing. Screw the curse.

Because he is the worst forward Brazil ever had in World Cup history. The numbers are out there. The guy simply doesn't touch the ball the entire game, doesn't shoot, it's like Brazil was playing every match with 10 players. Since the first match when he did nothing besides dive in that fake penalty people notice he was doing nothing good. People were always joking about how bad he was even when he scored a goal (without goalie) against Cameroon. But everything was funny since Brazil was advancing. So when Neymar withdrew from the World Cup people were frustrated to see that he was the only hope of scoring. So they booed Fred yesterday because the WC was over since Germany was steamrolling and nothing would redeem him anymore.

David Luiz on otherside, was doing a great World Cup and saved Brazil against Chile and Colombia scoring in both matches. And he is very charismatic, humble and popular among everyone. He has a lot of credit with the fans. Fred doesn't have any credit.

Do they now? And how is that working out for them in Bundesliga? :D

Last night couldn't have gone any better for The Netherlands. Germany was unavoidable in the first place and a 7-1 win means they're the favourite now. Holland eats favourites for breakfast. If they'd won with 2-1 after a heavy fight, it would be worse.

And I'm praying De Jong will be back in time, we're going to need him.

But... let's get past Argentina first!

Greece would've totally destroyed Germany, right guys? Right?

Anyway, Germany is pretty much in shock right now. People over here will be so mad if they don't win this WC.

Shock?
All I see here is heads shaking and Schadenfreude.
And we are used to lose in World Cups, so nobody would be more sad than 2002, 2006 or 2010.
