Yeah i get that. I just think it was a bit much having him in all the videos this week. Could have used maybe a Brad/Jeff Quick Look. I also hope this is going to mean less Drew for Quick Looks again. I was enjoying having him on more of them lately.

the Light quick look was Jeff/Brad. I imagine they're just putting him in as much as they can so that he can build up synergy and get more comfortable in his role.

I bet the Drew shortage is just temporary - he's probably busy setting up Jason with all their procedures/equipment/software/on-boarding shit/etc and getting stuff sent to Vinny.

I mean, this is a dude who writes his own manuals (with diagrams!) just to play games, for a new hire I wouldn't be surprised if he's filming an interactive FMV training course.
 
Oh, now the poor ignoramus doesn't even know the definition of Schrödinger's cat. When that name popped up in the quick look I was immediately hoping for some theoretical discussion of the interpretations of quantum mechanics, but nope. Not with Dan.

So is Divinity all linked or just a catch all name like FF? 'cause this (original sin) seems pretty standard fantasy but I remember that Dragon Commander game as more steampunk-y.
 
Getting caught up on the week and I'm seeing: 7 Quicklooks, 2 live shows, 2 podcasts, Bombastica, Jar Time, and a Mailbag. With another QL and 2 live shows on the Calendar for today. They are really firing on all cylinders.

With a lot of content coming out this week i was worried that there would be nothing to complain about. I'm glad Dan has been able to fill that hole.


I wonder if Drew will bring out a drag racing game on UPF like he mentioned on the podcast.

I'm glad Dan "doesn't know stuff". Can you imagine how boring it would be if he was as flawless as everybody here? Brrrr...

Nothing better than people wanting a personality-driven site and jumping on them the moment they bare the weaknesses in their personality.

We now have someone with below-average history knowledge, and we have Drew, a history buff. Imagine the hilarious Bombcast conversations we're gonna get.

During the Mousecraft quick look when Schrödinger was brought up and Brad was explaining the thought experiment and its relation to quantum mechanics it rekindled my desire to see a 'Science with Brad' show (and now featuring Dan Ryckert!).

I'd watch that. The rule for it should be that Brad has to explain everything using wrestling or Mortal Kombat metaphors.
 
I have to say though, seeing Brad tell Dan about the arrow at the bottom right at the end of the Mousecraft QL seemed a bit.....strange.
Usually Brad is the one who misses those things D

we just need Dan to ER a well regarded JRPG and read none of the prompts and wonder why nothing is working so that he truly becomes a great hire.
 
Smart move by Sony. They're really good at grabbing personable people in the industry. Something like that sounds like it shouldn't be a big deal, but MS got slaughtered for it.
