Is there any chance Mega Man could get an up B customizable move that switches the move to the Rush Jet?!?
Been replaying Mega Man 3 a lot recently and I love that thing
 
All I remember about Hades and God of War is that goddamn pillar. Whoever designed that deserves that pillar right up their arse!

I would like to bring up that we didn't have worldwide release date for Smash 4. I'm very grateful for that because it could meant that Sakurai are stuffing everything as they can in the game right before they hit the deadline, so that's probably why they need few weeks. Translators would have time to translate those things for their region-specific languages for the games at last minute.

I know it's all theoretical but I believe that it's more likely tho.
 
It always bugged me that Hades is the most consistently demonized of the Greek Gods despite him not being much of an ass compared to the others.

A new character will be revealed Monday (probably Shulk). It's like a direct reveal without the direct.

He always struck me as like a creepy dude who lived in his moms basement. So he's a weirdo, and people don't like weirdos, so they make him a villain.

Smash's release date in JP is right next to Destiny in the US. I kind of wonder if that's why we're waiting till early October for it.
Regardless, I hope no Japanese retailers leak it early, because getting it off the eshop on a Japanese 3DS at roughly the same time everyone else does would be fucking awesome.

That would be awesome. Actually, this reminds me that I'm *very* interested to see what Mega Man's alt specials will be. Will they be the same moves with their properties altered, or could they use his alt specials to dig deeper into his massive collection of weapons (the Crash Bomb becomes the Drill Bomb or Flash Bomb, for example)?
 
I wonder if Nintendo doesn't want to do live reveals at EVO, the Invitational, etc, just because they're afraid of the off-chance where the fans react with venomous disapproval. "Shulk? What the fuck's a Shulk? I want Naruto, Shrek and Goku!"

While this is possible, I imagine it probably has to do more with Sakurai wanting to reveal the newcomers on his terms and not on anyone elses.
 
Since we know it's probably going to be Shulk on Monday, who do we think will be in his trailer? Visually, Xenoblade combines easily with Fire Emblem. But I highly doubt we would have a double reveal of Chrom and Shulk and there are no more Fire Emblem veterans to expect.

So it will probably just be Shulk and an established veteran(s) like Palutena's trailer.

But Shulk has a limited established fan base, especially in the West. So I'm curious if maybe they would sweeten the sell with a veteran as well.

Between this and the Snake Eater posts, I'm still hoping that there's a box in the background of Shulk's trailer ala Brawl's Reveal Trailer. At the end, we hear the Codec ring and we get a mini-Snake trailer similar to Sonic's 40 second one.

Fire Enblem characters make sense for a mash up with Xenoblade.

I'm pretty sure the Leaf Shield will have the other various "shields" Mega Man's used over the years with minor differences... hopefully his other moves will be the same (since there are definitely enough bombs and projectiles to fill that role). Maybe Quick Boomerang and Silver Tomahawk instead of Metal Blade?
 
ROB or Snake definitely seem like they have the most potential. I figure we'll see CG Marth/Ike whenever Chrom shows up.

Ness/Lucas might work for Shulk's trailer too. Mostly just because of being RPG bros and wrecking robots (and half-robots) up.
 
Do we have any good puns on the Chorus Men or Chrom in case it turns out to be one of them instead of Shulk?

"No Homs. Just Chroms." (I like this one.)
"Our guess was off-course, men." (I don't have anything good for the Chorus Men. Sue me.)

They originally planned to do the reveal at EVO, but somebody had a vision of it being leaked and decided the future must be changed.
