Music Vault has uploaded thousands of live concert video recordings from the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's.

According to Rolling Stone, Music Vault has been working over the last two years to remaster these all for release, and that they only plan on expanding its collection on YouTube with time.

Enjoy and please post your favorites and gems that you find!

Is it okay to (mass-)download these?
I'd hate to see them

edit: from what I've understood, this is the result of a partnership/cooperation between Google and Music Vault, so maybe this decreases the risk of them being taken down?

Can't find any details but Music Vault CEO said this:

“We believe this content deserves to be seen by the largest audience possible, and our partnership with YouTube allows us to do just that,” Antonucci said.

Take that for what it's worth

One of his favorite videos, he adds, include Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band at the Capitol Theater in 1978 for his Darkness on the Edge of Town tour. "The show is in September, and for whatever reason, he decides to open the second set with 'Santa Claus Is Coming to Town,'" he tells Billboard. "When you're the Boss, you can do things like that."

This is not Youtube's fault this is your country fault.

Nope, of course not. From a judicial point of viewhere there are only 12 songs which aren't allowed to be played (12 is the magic number today). Every other video doesn't have to be blocked and the german copyright collectives also doesn't let these videos get blocked. But Youtube's playing the blame game since 2013 now - at the expense of german users who can't see shit.

bad gameplay lol
My god... they've got an uncensored performance of Bück Dich by Rammstein here (the last song, totally NSFW.)

This is absolutely amazing stuff. The range of music available is incredible.

It's weird. I know for a fact that this is the performance from the Family Values Tour '98 VHS (and DVD?), 'cause I wore that fucking VHS out when I was a kid. This entire performance is ingrained in my memory. :lol Though it's nice to see some of the other songs in the set (only Du Hast and Bück Dich were included on the VHS). I wonder how much more of this stuff has been released commercially in the past.

NSFW

Limp Bizkit Woodstock 99 Break Stuff

It's the full concert but this song in particular because the crowd was near riotous and abusive at this point. NSFW. There are some breasts and women being groped in the footage. Personally not a fan of Limp Bizkit, but this is a noteworthy set.

That was painful to listen to. I was going to ask whatever happened to Limp Bizkit then after listening I truly remember how little I care what became of him.
