Can't you just play them on your PS3?
In theory yes, but in reality I know I'd never play them. Got a huge backlog as it is, and adding a small group of sizeable RPGs won't do me any favours.

I think you may have gotten 'Wild Arms XF' and 'Wild Arms Alter Code F' mixed up. Alter Code F is the remake of the original, a PS2 title. It's somewhat rare and expensive at this point - you're talking ~$50 used versus 99¢.
The PSP title, Wild ARMs XF, is a pretty good SRPG, but it's unrelated.
I'm a UK gamer but have just over $2 in my US account.
It's between
Dyad
Velocity Ultra
Oddworld: Munchs Oddysee HD
WHAT 2 TO GET GAF?![]()
Isn't this version of VF2 gorgeous? It's easy to forget how good the game looked in arcades.I picked up Virtua Fighter 2 on my US account. So many memories.
My two and half year old son got his first ever trophy on it earlier. Bless him, and bless Sega for their piss easy achievements.
Aye, it is. Was driving the missus mad with 'better run home to momma now' as Sarah chalked up victory after victory. When my little man wasn't button mashing his way to glory that is.Isn't this version of VF2 gorgeous? It's easy to forget how good the game looked in arcades.
I actually got Monster World IV and Revenge of Shinobi earlier in the week as well. They are part of Sega's "collection" series and are chock full of nostalgic goodness.
The hell is this?!

Anyone else getting that? I just bought it. I hope they didn't just spring a free one AFTER people are buying it.
Just a couple of things to note!
- You have to transfer Legend of Dragoon from your PS3 to your Vita to play it on your Vita!
- Virtua Fighter 2 is the Saturn version (with trophies and online play)!
EDIT: Thanks to the mod for changing the thread title!
Virtua Fighter 2 is an arcade port with additional features.
The saturn version actually has less polygons on the character models and the background geometry is completely gone. However, the Saturn version is awesome because it runs at a much higher resolution with higher resolution textures. This is noticeable on the floor textures and backgrounds. the saturn version also plays fast.
Source: I still have my original Saturn, Virtua Fighter 2 and Fighters Megamix.
Edit: There are some annoying bugs in the AI from the arcade version that wasn't in the saturn version.
I have addressed this in the OP (didn't really feel like going back to the post). I made a common mistake and more or less, I was just trying to inform people that it wasn't the Genesis version or whatever
I bought ten of these games yesterday, and will likely never play most of them. I'm most interested in the RPGs, I guess.
Which of the three campaigns is most interesting for Wild Arms?
I did this too and the store crashed.Yup, got it with Syphon Filter 1 when I added it to my cart and kept browsing. Haven't bought it yet, but the banner is across the game like that. I have the feeling SF 1/2/3 will be free next month.
I want to be clear, I haven't even bought it yet - just simply added it to my cart.

Edit-
Added 2 and 3 to the cart, rebooted the store, now 1 and 3 have the banner but not 2. Also, if I try and click on them, the store kicks me out to the XMB.
No need for defense was just sharing info. I just happen to be playing it and decided to share info on details. Thats all. Sorry if it came off that way. These things happen.![]()
Borderlands 2 in the budle was especially bad since with the DLC takes up over 5 gigs. I need a card bigger than 8 gigs.Stupid fucking vita cards. My 32gb card is full and I feel like I barely have anything on it.
And why do some games that you own physically take up so much space!! I'm looking at you ninja gaiden 2 taking up 3.5gb.
I wanna buy moooore
Of course not, it uses the old RE tank controls. Those games never supported dual analogs for movement.can i really not set dino crisis on vita to use analog sticks?
These games play differently. In simple terms, the first game is Resident Evil with dinosaurs. The second game is much more action oriented and is like an arcade shooter. It still uses tank controls, but it's much faster pace with score bubbles and combo scoring to rack up bigger scores. They're both worth owning, imo.[*]Dino Crisis games - How do these two hold up? Should I just get the sequel or are both good titles in their own right?
This is a very early PS1 jrpg so the visuals look rough in spots but the story is decent. No it's not a dating sim at all. It's a jrpg with a western (as in the old west) motif.[*]Wild Arms - Same deal. Do these hold up well? I don't really care if aesthetics look archaic. Is there a good story here or is it just a dating sim?
Sweet sale. Just wanted some feedback before I bite on some games:

- Legend of Dragoon - Again, weird localization aside, is the story any good?
- Harvest Moon - Never played this series before. Will I like it if I like Animal Crossing?
Thanks in advance!
lol, it's not remotely a dating sim. It's a jRPG with an epic story and zero dating or romantic aspect to it.Sweet sale. Just wanted some feedback before I bite on some games:

do you have something similar for the 2nd game?lol, it's not remotely a dating sim. It's a jRPG with an epic story and zero dating or romantic aspect to it.
You can read my post here for more info about Wild ARMs.
They aren't really campaigns. The game has one main plot but lets you start playing as any one of the 3 protags before they all meet up together.
I only played the second one once, and took a long time in beating it. It improved on the first one in many respects, most notably graphics, and the ability to avoid most random encounters*, but I simply didn't get into the world and characters as much as the first one. I guess I thought it lacked the charm of the first, maybe? But I may be in the minority here.do you have something similar for the 2nd game?
thanks for posting impressions!
You play all three, in the order you want. They eventually meet up and form a permanent party. I think all three intros are equally interesting, but it's generally recommended to start with Rudy's, as he has the most exposition. I started with Jack on my first ever playthrough, FWIW.Do you play all three eventually, or no? If not, I'd still like to know which prologue is more interesting.
The minimum amount you can add to your SEN wallet is $5.Do you have to pay at least $5? I'm trying to just buy two games and it's saying it's going to add $5 to my wallet.
