I feel sorry for Reus, because he is germanys best player, and a top 10 player in the world according to me. With him in this world cup things would have gone a lot smoother for germany, but nooo, now he has to wait another 4 years to try to get a cup, while his pals already have one.

Congrats Germany GAF

lmao is that tevez?

Go see the replays before jumping to stupid conclusions, the goal keepers touched the ball before even touching the player.

Doesn't matter he came with the knee against the player and that is fucking disgusting.

Dangerous play doesn't imply you have to kick a player or hurt anyone intentional. If you come flying in with your leg at a height where it's not supposed to be you commit a foul.

Neuer didn't have his leg to high. He does have the right to jump to the ball.

His knee was never in an unnatural position.

Just you wait until Krautgaf returns from their partying, drunk out of their fucking minds, hyped beyond reason, and fueled by hours of pure happiness. Then we can have another go at this "humble and no assholes" thing. =P

No he didn't. Goalies are taught to jump with a knee up to protect their body and not go flying.

The player ran into Neuer's knee. Neuer did not knee the player. Watch the replay.

That should have been a Red and PK, but FIFA wanted less cards, the ref can't go against FIFA..

Don't be salty now Argentina, we stayed around and endured the abuse our team brought upon us. Try to see the bright side of it.

The bright light glittering from the cup that you saw but didn't get, hueheuheuehuehuehuehuehuehuehueheuhue

We can still win a World Cup, a 7-1 is forever.

I'm so happy, been waiting for this moment since 1996. Im not even German but I just love this team, always went to the stadium when they faced my country, was heartbroken when Klose scored his first ever goal on the national against my country but now Im just happy seeing him 36 at the end of his career lifting the cup :')

He's a huge guy too so for him that isn't too high, just pretty natural. He's a tank too so he was always going to win that battle.

Nope, not a red, not a PK, not a foul. Goalies always have the right to do what he did, and used the same posture goalies always do. It wasn't his fault someone YOLO'd into his knee.

No. Neuer went for the ball and got the ball before he hit the other guy.
Thats not a foul.

This doesn't rid the player in every ball dispute with just that. The referee needs to see the whole situation and the consequences. And in this dispute Neuer's knee hit Higuain's head in a flying jump. He could avoid that. It was a dangerous move. It ain't that simple.

You know, looking at these replays here, I'm not entirely sure the ball is even in the box when Neuer punches it. I wonder if there's a view that shows that more clearly. Not that it matters.

Have some dignity.

Yeah, maybe if you started watching football 4 weeks ago.

Goalies are trained to do that, everyone who has ever played a game of footy knows this. You jump against a goalie like that you expect to get clattered.

Just desperatly attempts to rewrite the history.

Was a good match. Both teams were very good. One has to loose. Argentina played well, congrats to them.
Germany winning the world cup is deserved. They had a good tournament with an overall good performance. Congrats to them/us.
Most importantly, it was an enjoyable and even match.

Neuer already took a great risk by punching that ball. It's really hard to tell if the ball is still within the 16 meter box. On top of that it was just reckless too jump in like that with his knee as high as Higuains face.

But let's assume Neuer is right in doing that. How can anyone explain that Higuain got the call against him? What did Higuain do?

Different rules for goalies inside penalty box.

Every goalie is taught to raise the legs for protection when the jump. The player should know better charging the goalie like that.

No penalty.

What did Higuain do?

I think there is no one who defends this part of the decision of the referee.

Neuer punched the ball out of the field and Argentina should have got the throw-in. But it wasn't a foul by Neuer.

Technically he made contact with the goalie.

I was 50/50 on that part of the call. It's technically correct, but probably a little harsh.

My only answer to that is FIFA, because i have no idea...
