I agree. I did not argue "pro cleavage" for female armor in this game as others have assumed based on their replies. I tounge-in-cheek teased someone who asked what's wrong with appreciating cleavage. I replied that even if done in a classy/enigmatic/tasteful manner, people would still be crying gender objectification. That holds true not in this game only, but in a broader application. Then people reply with their usual comments.
Is it unrealistic? Yes.

Like someone said above, if there's any place for players to be extended the option of indulging in sex appeal, it's when the helmets come off during "leisure" time. No boob windows or mesh shirts in space combat.

Sorry to say but "you're arguing about realism in a [blank] full of [blank]" is an unfair argument. In fantasy and fiction there are rules established by the world as acceptable but what isn't mentioned does not all of a sudden make it acceptable as well. If I'm watching a Sci fi film and the humans and aliens are all talking English without any mention of a universal translator you bet jurassic I'm going to ask why it's happening and saying "you're arguing about that in a movie full of aliens?" Does not make this inconsistency acceptable.

Apparently there is only one. No word of what exactly it is though.

Awesome. Just want to know on what planet the beta is to be held and how many story/strike missions there are.
Also what the level cap is once you reach it. I'm guessing it wont take you too long.
Apart from that just every little conceivable detail leaving nothing out.

Yeah just give us a brief rundown of the content I guess. Look at the maps and let us know how many missions, strikes, zones, etc..
The number of missions & stuff has apparently already been leaked. Its four story chapters, four multiplayer maps and a co-operative Strike mission.

I just read that you can see if a player has their super in pvp because there will be a yellow border around their level when your cursor is over them. Can anyone verify this?

10 AM Pacific on July is when the servers are supposed to open. Download tokens are supposed to be emailed and/or show up on your Bungie.net profile some time on the 17th.
Sounds like they really want to test the PVP. Bleh. I'll stick to exploring and doing the strike over and over on the hardest difficulty.
Four maps for a beta is pretty good.

Huh? Why would the amount of MP maps they're using for the Beta mean the season pass for the expansions needs to have more maps?

They have to test their net code and servers it makes more sense to test out multiplayer maps as a priority over pve.

I work till 4:30PM on Thurs and Fri, and I will be neglecting my beauty sleep to get in as many hours as possible. I'm thinking 5PM-1AM all day everyday.
