From the US. Sorry, I don't have a screenshot. Just decided to sign in today seeing as Bungie.net was slightly updated for the Beta. I can only assume this means Xbox users may be able to pre-load the Beta? I tweeted Bungie and will try to respond if I get an answer before someone else does.
Anyone able to check to see if the same is true for them for Xbox 360 or Xbox ONE?

The beta is down for maintenance on the 21st and the 22nd, so I don't think you'll be getting an extra day to play regardless of when you get your code.

Well its common practice yes. I believe first day of halo 3 beta it was the same. Bungie isn't good at anticipating server demand.You'd be delusional if you don't expect the servers to be overloaded on the first day.

That second video was weird, because they talk about really simple things MMOs having been doing for years and talk about it like it's never been done. Don't get me wrong. I'm super excited for Destiny, but they seem to be forcibly avoiding saying "its a shooter, but with MMO elements."
Everything they said can be summed up as "yeah, it's Guild Wars 2 but a kickass shooter is mixed in."
I mean, that's a sweet ass combination. I'm in.
