Yeah, my family's DSL is 12Mb/s down, 0.7 up. It's fine for most internet things and streaming games with very low quality, but next-gen game sizes really hurt.

Looking forward to getting my own apartment so I can upgrade to cable and get 25/5.

We won't know for sure until release, but I believe some were able to remote play during the Alpha.

The main problem most people will have is not their own personal bandwidth cap, but the enormous load everyone trying to download at the same time is going to draw. Everyone should expect a slow download.

Go down the road 2 blocks and they can get fiber optic.

The next house I buy will definitely be in a fiber optic area.

It's because they're still working out kinks. Whenever that appears to me I just tap it and it fixes itself.

Though when I click my name the app taunts me like a third grade bully with a giant "this profile hasn't played Destiny yet" as it grabs my underoos and gives me a wedgistiny.

I wish Minnesota had any kind of fiber at all. Right now the choice is between CenturyLink hell and Comcast purgatory. There's also 4G, but the latency makes it impractical for gaming.

Yes it does and it does a very fine job of it. The game looks fantastic and an added bonus is that It utilizes the touch screen only and not the back touch pad which makes life a lot easier (for me anyway) as I hate using the rear touch pad.

The only real complaints I had were that using the d-pad down for sprint was a little cumbersome and the obvious lack of accuracy you'd expect from playing an FPS on a handheld, but for PvE it was great.

edit: beaten. You have to be quick on the draw in this place.

When is the Beta?
The public beta will be released in two waves. The first being on the Playstation 3 and 4 on July 17th. After that the Beta will be down for maintenance from July 21st to the 22nd to prepare for the Xbox (360 and One) launch, which will be on July 23rd. Your codes will go out at 10am PDT of the day the beta is supposed to go live on your respective platform.
