The beta is a separate download. I see no reason to keep the Alpha.

We will be able to experience the beginning of the game this time, with the cutscenes and introduction that will be in the final game. This includes a couple of early missions and sequences that we didn't see in the alpha.

If i remember correctly the Alpha was mission 3 right? So that means we're going to get the first two missions as well?

They say their are implementing changes if needed from the beta but the game will go in approval like early August so how are you implementing changes if the beta ends days before you submit the game?

Same logic for the exact opposite decision. In the context of 'years to come', less than 2 weeks is completely nothing in the grand scheme of things. Especially with level cap in place.

Day 1 patch for balancing probably. Doubt anything substantial such as map and mission designs as they are will undergo said change.

Sure but I just think its misleading to suggest that "major" things can change just because you had this beta.
Its a polished demo for the people who pre-order lets not kid our selfs.
