Lasting consequences.
You're in the wrong medium. Read something else.

Sometimes you just drop things.
hes not reading comics now
Lasting consequences.
??????????????????????????
That can't be real.
Seems OK I guess. This means a similar thing will probably happen in the movie series right?
Sam Wilson is a lame, so I don't really care.
That said, I am surprised at how well everyone online is taking this. I guess people blew all their nerd rage on female Thor? Or do we just have to wait for the morning when everyone is awake for folk to really turn up?

Why does everyone keep saying this? Tony Stark is still Iron Man.
Thanks for spoiling the next marvel movie :/![]()

I think it's because it's obvious to even the less comic knowing audience at this point that none of this is going to stick more than a year and it's just a publicity stunt.
Everything will be back to normal by the time Avengers 2 comes out - Disney doesn't like the status quo not applying when movie merchandise is shipping.
Look at what happened to Superior Spider-man.
Hah! No.
Actually I'd put good money that that isn't Tony. Given they've spent six months setting up that he has a long lost brother who is also a genius inventor who builds robot suits. They're clearly going for an "the established Avengers are gone!" arc, as part of Time Runs Out.

Not like it'll stick because superhero changes never stick because in some alternate universe none of this actually happened so who cares anyway because comic books.
This is why I don't even bother reading them because I have no idea what is what anymore.
Skin colour should make no difference.Yes, because white super hero are so rare.
... i cant tell if youre joking or not
Why do you think this is a piblicity stunt?

Psylocke was originally a lesser, British, purple Jean Grey, and then she got flushed down a magic plot device that lets you start a new life somewhere else (the perfect thing for characters who aren't radical enough).
She landed unconscious in Japan, and was found by ninjas. A female ninja was dying, and they figured they could save her life by mind-swapping her with Psylocke against her will. The Japanese girl's body woke up with Psylocke's mind inside of it, so they brainwashed Psylocke into becoming one of them and attacking the XMen.
The XMen de-brainwashed her, and Psylocke became a slutty Japanese ninja XMan.
The British body with a confused Japanese girl's mind inside of it later woke up and tried to join the XMen, but then she died of mutie-AIDS before anything interesting could come of that.
Follow writers instead of characters. You'll be happier that way.

What the fuck.
Who came up with that bullshit and when? I ask because I was still reading X-Men back when that change happened and I don't remember anything about a Japanese girl or body swapping.
Because it's clearly Marvel and Disney corporate policy at this point that you can do anything you like as long as the characters revert back to their normal selves within 18 months or prior to a movie release?
It's a publicity stunt because it's generated lots of publicity for something that isn't a permanent change, in exactly the same way as the death of Cap, unmasking of Spiderman and Marvel Now were.
In "Captain America" by Rick Remender #21, Steve Rogers will lose his Super Soldier Serum and no longer be able to carry on his duties.
Wow, that was convenient.
A quick Google says that Psylocke becoming a Japanese ninja was Chris Claremont's doing in 1989, but the exact details of the transformation were left unclear.
Fabien Nicieza filled in the backstory and brought her original British body back along with the Japanese ninja's mind in 1993, only to kill that combination off a few issues later and say "no tradebacks".
Oh shit, his name could have been Captain FalconWhy not just keep him Falcon, I mean thats who he is, trying to put him in the Cap suit will force him to change his entire skillset due to the expectations coming with it. I am however glad they didnt stick Winter Soldier with this role again, guy needs to be his own man
So i guess this means Angela is not the new Thor.
It's like Marvel just realized all their characters are white and male.
The real question is whether it will be undone in time for Avengers 2 or Captain America 3.
Did they do something to Iron Man yet?
Wonder if the guy replacing him will be gay.
NamorOut of curiosity, are there any famous Asian superheroes?
So is Captain Falcon a super soldier now or is he still a "regular" dude that will now be wearing Cap's outfit?

Here is how it went down: the X-Men were almost dying, the purifiers were about to hit them hard (right when they just came back from Savage Land or something like that). They still had the M'Kraan Crystal, and the back then british Elizabeth realized that the only way to move forward is to take a leap of faith. So they convinced them (mind controlled? Do not remember) them to go through the portal to give a new chance to the team to live, as opposed to being slaughtered. So they all went to the portal, and it changed their lives. Some changes were small, but for Betsy, it was a totally different life.
The next chapters of X-Men were the team putting itself together.
Bucky didn't get the Super Soldier serum when he was Cap, so I imagine the same will apply here.
Was there a single shred of evidence that the phoenix was a force for causing mutations before cyclops claimed it though? Or was he truly playing with fire to save his race?
I uh... wait, how the... huh.
Well, I did not know that.
