That's just the shell. Go to restore your licenses in PSN settings.

Reboot your PS4 or something. Download speeds shouldn't be too bad. I'm getting 4MB/s.

I live beyond the wall mate, I'd wet my pants over 1MB/s here.

You only downloaded the application to download the beta.

im only surprised it went from 8 hours to 8 seconds. my pc doesnt even pull that trick anymore

The first download is just a client and is only 179 MB, rest is downloaded when you start it up. Maybe it needs to verify the license before you can start it, but PSN servers are getting hammered.

Wow, you are a godsend! This actually worked for me. I had to do this a number of times before it would finally catch, at several points along the way, but it worked!

Oh great, now I get an error when trying to download the game from within Destiny. Unable to connect to PSN! Wtf?! Has anyone figured out how to deal with this one?

Redeemed my code, gave me a server error. Now it says my code has been used. Can't see my download anywhere and can't get back into the PSN store to find my download list.

For people getting kicked from PSN Store: When you get the error message, DOUBLE TAP THE PS BUTTON to go to XMB.

Then, DOUBLE TAP AGAIN to go back to the Store. You may get the error again, but KEEP DOUBLE TAPPING IN AND OUT.

Pressing circle closes the store, while double tapping keeps it open in the background (I think)

You will eventually make progress without having to start the launch of the PSN store all over again (by double tapping PS button instead of circle)

Keep this in mind for future betas.

Haha I finally got to the goddamn Destiny Beta page and when I click download nothing happens. You can hear the sound effect of me clicking it but nothing happens.
