I just realized my code from my preorder at EB Games (GameStop) is only 9 digits long instead of 12

That code is meant to be used on Bungie.net in order for you to pick the platform you want the beta on. The PSN codes are 12 characters.

Apparently my code redeemed, but when I go to my downloads or library, the beta is there but when you choose it, theres nothing there. That's what I've been looking at for the last 45 minutes.


sigh...this happens every fucking time.

2 hours and 11 minutes here with no download button.

Screw it I am playing the PS3 version since it downloaded and installed with no issues.

Dead serious, backing up and and then going again shooting bots has never been fun for me, across all Halo games I have aprox. 40,000 multi player games played and have not completed 1 campaign.

Man, all the amazing games you must have missed from hating single player that bad! But as to your question, I don't know since I don't have the beta yet, but you had to play the first 5-10 minute mission before you could play PvP on the alpha.

On the install screen there is one pic of some sort of wrecked space station orbiting Saturn , would be a nice change of environment rather than just ground level planets

I had the beta preloaded. Got the CE error every time. Tried to enter the code for the past 2 hours. It finally works, but it says i already have it downloaded and it still doesn't work. I delete it and enter the code again. I download two files both smaller than 200mb and I'm still getting the CE error.

I've been trying to download about once every 15 minutes since 8:15AM. This is starting to tick me off. I've been in a lot of betas over the years, primarily for MMORPGs, and I've never needed anything close to four hours to even start downloading a client.

I had to get my code from Bungie.net, go to Playstation store....redeem the code, then the download became available.

It wasn't available before that. At all.

Where did you get your code off bungie.net? I can't figure out how to find it there. My PS ID is already linked to Bungie
