I too am unable to set my group (DestinyGAF UK) as my PSN clan. As I am still downloading the Beta, my operating theory is that you cannot do so until you have created a character. My download is set to finish within the next half hour. I will let you know if I am able to do so then.

I've already got a character going. Didn't help

under groups do a search for DestinyGAF and all groups should show up then request to join DestinyGAF and the DestinyGAF EU 2 groups.

Btw in the second one is where you set your console choice.
