Gwailor Type 1 Chest Plate - 47 defense...carry more ammo for scout rifle
vs
Agema Type 0 Chest Plate - 38 defense...carry more ammo for auto rifle

Gwailor Type 0 Gauntlets - 36 defense...faster reload for pulse rifles
vs
Agema Type 3 Gauntlets - 28 defense...faster reload for auto rifles

basically, does the added defense rating outweigh the faster reloading, or more ammo?



randoms...or with just a single other friend...i know thats bound to happen when playing with randoms...but i still think the moon map (or the vehicles in general) need a little bit of a balancing tweak

I personally went with defense. That and using armors with discipline bonus.
 
Do you get more rewards playing in a team or some shit?

Played 4 games of Iron Banner. I got a shitty common hand cannon, and I've only seen somebody else get a green Auto Rifle. That's it. We've won every game too.

I also don't get how I can smash, finish top by a wide margin, as well as having a sweet KD, and I get fuck all yet the dude who finishes fourth does. What the hell.
 
Jesus, those Auto Rifles. There is like no reason to use anything else if the player is on your radar

Yea lots of problems with this map in Control. Definitely not its best gametype.
 
Can someone please please tell me where my iron banner rank is listed? Or the progress, or how to even get progress?

The Uncommon CYDONIA-AR3 is now for sale at the Gunsmith in The Tower. Stock refreshes in 20 min or so.

Does anyone know if (and how) to sell stuff like Spinmetal Leaves? I'm sure you could do that in the Alpha. Or am I just going crazy here?
 
As a Hunter, how do you obtain a visibility cloak? I feel like my inability to dedicate hours to this game (family/career) that I'll always be at a disadvantage.
 
I keep getting disconnection error "removed from the game world. Please try again..." (beaver) on crucible and even when going to the tower. But the mission/strikes works fine.

Edit: Tower was working fine on the first beta day, didnt try Crucible during that time though.

you turn them into the crucible quartermaster or something, he's down in the middle before you get to hte vanguards
 
Pve seems okay but the PvP seems absolutely horrible as far as I can tell. It doesnt even tell you what you died from which is a very basic feature most any shooter should have. I do enjoy doing PvP on the Moon map since I can grab a vehicle

Being playing on the maps where Levels dont matter btw

I believe you can give it to the crucible or vanguard quartermasters for marks. Not terribly useful yet, but I'd image that'll change.

Pointless since it's a level 20 item. :P I wanted it for the bounty, but it made me skip the emblem as well. That hunter cloak is frigging awesome and it remind me of when I got my first cape in WoW back in the days lol. :p

yes it does...but i believe its somewhat obscured by the "Beta Build" watermark in the upper right hand corner...

There's a kill feed on the screen, and it's honestly not that hard to tell whether you died from a gun/grenade/super...
 
PVP Complaints:
  • I haven't played PVP enough and I don't like this because I didn't notice it.
  • I am doing bad, this is unbalanced trash!
Proceed to dismiss this portion of the game.
 
I have Uncommons of most of the weapons. I also noticed that if you turn in a bounty while an uncommon is equipped it will level up. Not sure if it's a bug or not, but I used it to level everything up without having to do anything. Still looking for an uncommon Sniper though.

I hated it too at first, but it is surprisingly growing on me.

Hit the share button to go into the menu, then hit square to save the last 15 minutes, or whatever you have the settings set to. I lost a lot of good clips until I figured this out...

Yeah its obvious too me where Bungie invested the bulk of their resources. Darn shame, really loved the pvp in Halo.

We may try again later. But I always feel dirty afterwards. The distance between newbie and pro is really vast in this game. Back to Killzone for PvP til my friends log back on. We will probably just do a little pve
 
I like the PVP, but the fact that all the abilities/grenades are pretty much the same radius as the capture points is a little annoying. It means every single person in an encounter has the potential to basically scorch the earth for the other team, which seems a little over the top.
