I'm positive emotes are tied to race or gender, not class. The bow, wave and salute are variations of the greeting emote (up on the d-pad). My Awoken Huntress bows, while my human one from the Alpha waved. Exos salute, Humans wave and the Awoken bow.

We don't know, there have been allusions to other Earth-like areas like Old-Chicago, but other than that there are still multiple places in Old Russia that are currently closed off.

Have you seen Bungies GDC talk from last year? I have no idea what is in the final game but there is some amazing artwork in there and they go into detail on world building and stuff.

Seems like most of the cool stuff can only be had through time with PvP (Iron Banner and Crucible). I really hope this isn't the case. I super suck at PvP.

I also hope I can finally find a good Auto Rifle, they're so hard to find. Not sure (aside from strike drops and Crucible rewards) what other method there is to get one.

Finally, sucks GAF guild/clan/whatever was splintered. After getting in, it was a bit of a let down to not see an in-game tag, then reading it was full and broken into regions. I should have checked the thread more often. Oh well.

The City is directly underneath The Traveler. Surrounding The City is The Wall which encircles The City. On The Wall is The Tower, where our vendors and such are.

It's the last truly safe city on Earth because the Traveler is protecting it in some way. People are probably settled elsewhere, but we only have that one real stronghold.
