That's true. I figured it was just part of the Golden Gun like two kills with one bullet snipes, but then I saw the upgrade and have yet to get another one.

The opposite of this bugged me. I accidentally recorded voice chat on several of my clips. I think changing the voice from blended to headset only in Destiny's options menu fixed it though.
For me, it only records my team's voices if we were just in the game chat and not party chat.

I kind of wish personal bikes weren't allowed in Crucible. Something about the PVP feels off to me still. I can't quite put my finger on it.
I absolutely LOVE that we get our own sparrow for PvP. I think bc we already have our own ride they should just remopve the stupid pikes and interceptors. Fuck those vehicles lol

It'd be ridiculously easy to spawn kill on First Light if they weren't.
But then you'll never have the satisfaction of knowing throwing knife > pike.

It's inescapable for me to compare the game to Halo (perhaps that's the problem). But, at least on the few hours i've put, it seems that the pace of the game, the feel of the weapons, and an overly more chaotic tone to the PVP makes it seem off.
It could just but me and, perhaps, i'm being reluctant to let my notions of Halo go.
Still, I am having a blast with the PVE component.

Played Titan (lv. 8), then Warlock (4), then Hunter (4). Could not get used to the Warlock's floaty jump. I could do the 'scout the caves' quest in Explore that require you to jump the airplane wing / ramp to reach with the Warlock jump.
Don't see a clear winner with respect to the RT+LT abilities; Warlock's projectile is probably the most versatile, but the Titan's skill is easier to aim, and the Hunter's power won't let you rack up the multi-kills the way the other two do. (Hunter skill may be better in PVP, but I'm more of a PVE guy.)

Eh no. Don't speak for an entire group like your opinion was the only one. I tend to only get into Halo games multiplayer and I am loving this as the shooting feels really similar, not to mention the map design and vehicles/running combination.

Disagree. It definitely has that Halo magic. Far more than Halo 4 in fact.
That doesn't exactly apply to everyone. I don't feel that way.

Uh, I'm pretty much a pro at Halo 2 and I pretty much owned during the Beta so your opinion is invalid.

Halo is the only MP shooter I've ever cared to play, and yet I like Destiny's PvP way more.
It has enough Halo to feel familiar to me, but the new mechanics make both solo and team play more interesting and more rewarding. It's not without its issues (and neither was Halo), but if they balance it right, I think it'll end up being something special. I'll probably spend most of my time in Crucible, which I find weird because I was originally only interested in the co-op campaign modes.
Between Alpha and Beta these are the two classes I've played. As much as I wanted to like the Warlock better, I found the Titan to be more fun. Now I've put more time into the Titan but I felt like the Warlock didn't have enough offensive goodies to offset their squishy nature.
So my recommendation would be Titan, but I intend to give most of the rest of the Beta to Warlock to see if it clicks once I unlock a bit more.

Ok, after pumping in about 25+ hours over the weekend on the PS3 version, and maxing a Warlock, then Hunter, then Titan, I am more than ready to try this out on Xbox One. Wednesday can't come soon enough.
Absurdly impressed with this game on all fronts. I actually enjoy the PVP, which I was really apprehensive about going in. But to me, the cake is still in the PVE stuff. That's just so, so good. And something that I had been wanting for Halo for years. Thank you Bungie for such a good game. My life is going to be consumed by this come 9/9, I just know it.
