Actually, I have kind of been disappointed with the stuff that has been revealed so far (this is just my opinion, and I could easily understand why someone wouldn't be disappointed in the game so far).

1. Their haven't been any character reveals that really excite me.
- I have never played an AC game, so Villager doesn't do much for me.
- Wii Fit Trainer is very silly and totally unexpected, but she didn't look fun to play as, and she brings us a franchise that I don't really care that much about (Wii Fit + is fun, but it's still Wii Fit).
- I have only played a few of the Battle Network games, so I have very little connection to MegaMan.
- I like Rosalina, but not enough to get hyped for her.
- Never played a Punch-Out! game, so I don't really care about Little Mac.
- Greninja is unexpected, but it isn't a Pokemon that I am attached to.
- Mii Fighter just isn't from a franchise that I care about.
- Never really cared that much about Pacman.
- I really like FE: Awakening, but Lucina is kind of a boring character. I like Robin the most out of any new character, but I wouldn't care if he/she weren't on the roster.
-Palutena is kind of worthless when she isn't talking or making jokes, and I have never really wanted to play as her.

Overall, the character look well made and really fun to play as, but they don't bring along many new items, songs, or stages that I care about. TBH, their aren't that many realistic newcomers that I really want, but if Neku, a Pokemon that I love, and Shulk are newcomers, then I would be totally satisfied.

2. I haven't heard much about the music, and very few of the songs that I have heard really jump out at me. If someone could link to clips of some great new remixes from the game, I would greatly appreciate it.

3. I guess that's all, but music and character selection are two really important things to me.

I know that I will end up loving the game, and I will probably play each version for several hundred hours, but I am not nearly as hyped for this game as I was for Brawl.

But even if you're not hyped for the character themselves, the newcomers we've seen have had such varied and exciting abilities that I can't understand anyone not being at least somewhat excited. Like, I never would have picked Rosalina, but her working as a stand character is really cool and opens up new ways to play Smash. Similarly, I was never super-stoked for Pac-Man but his playstyle, complete with summons and a lot of 8-bit silliness, looks like a lot of fun.

It's one of the reasons Palutena bummed me out, actually. I really love her as a character, but her trailer did a really bad job of making her playstyle look as exciting as the others we've seen.

Palutena was my No. 1 most-wanted character, and I'm confident she'll be great, but I haven't the foggiest what kind of character she is, since her trailer focused on all of her custom options and didn't really make it clear how she's supposed to function. Some have inferred she's a slow power character (with some fast specials, of course), and if so, I think that's appealing, but I just really want to know how she works at a fundamental level.
