Project M team readjusted Classic Alt Link's Master Sword.
I used to think TP had the better design (E3 2004 hype!), but as more time passes, the more i like his OoT design. It's more elvish, more peter-pan-ish, and way more appealing for the fantasy realm, I think. To me anyway. Dude's straight up wearing khaki work pants in Skyward sword.

I think it looks the best initially, but after a while the light color makes gunk more noticeable, so I needed to clean mine a little more often than others I've used. They're also prone to yellowing if you aren't careful about sun.
And it's a separate issue, but I never cared much for how long the cord was on the newer white ones. Takes forever to unwind lol.
They need to make more of this sucker.
I'll buy ten if they tint it like the original glacier blue GBA.

Pic of the day. Here's the Great Fox from Star Fox: Assault. I wonder what missions it will conduct. It'll probably have fighters running around on top of it without the pilot's consent.
This looks incredible.
At first I thought this was a remastered Sector Z, which got me REALLY excited. Then, I noticed the differences in the shape of the ship.
Now, I'm worried that instead of fighting on the ship laterally like in Sector Z and Corneria, the nose of the ship may be pointing out of the screen like in Venom - in which case I would be supremely disappointed.
Sector Z and Corneria are some of my all time favorite Smash stages.

The PM team is doing some impressive stuff.
I never made it past stage 3 of starfox assault because of how boring it was and then I never bothered to replay it. Anyone familar with the game - is today's picture of the day from a specific stage in the game? What sector/area does it take place in?

Yes Assault Fortuna is the same as SNES Fortuna, but Assault didn't introduce it. That's what I'm trying to convey.
Well it's apparently right next to Fichina (the planet in the background) which is nowhere near sector z.
It's probably going to be a mix of Sector Z/Corneria and Lylat Cruise, fighting on top of the Great Fox going through Lylat.

Assault was a solid game.
Really fun and quirky multiplayer. A relatively decent story. That one scene where Fox and Wolf team up and you ride on the Wolfen...it was really fun.

Any guesses on the name of the stage? Will it just be called 'great fox,' I wonder? Maybe it'll be a 'true' lylat cruise and all of the planets will pass by if you play long enough.

A friend has cousins in America and he bought it as a Christmas gift for me ages ago when he was over there for a visit.Thinking about it, it should come to no surprise they used an Assault stage since Namco also worked on that.

I still feel the disappointment that I could not obtain an Orange controller that taunted me in the various Nintendo magazines.
How to relate this back to Smash, we need more orange alt colour schemes, Orangutan like fur Donkey Kong, Orange robed Dedede and so on.
Probably just "Great Fox" or something like "Lylat System" if they want to avoid calling it the same name as the Brawl Stage.
The Great Fox is travelling away from Fichina in that image so I think it's pretty safe to say that its going to be going through the system as opposed to orbiting that planet or something.
Looking forward to seeing other star fox planets and the sectors in HD.
Well if my theory that the Streetpass Quest stage requires every fighter to have a colour to match the 12 possible Mii colours for the stage gimmick to work then we should be getting orange outfits for all. Of course they may group Mii colours for the attributes like blue and light blue being seen as the same.
