NIS announces Great Edo Blacksmith for PS Vita

Speaking of unnecessary women touching though, how did Monster Monpiece do? IIRC that was published/released by NIS(A).

I think Tecmo Koei Tecmo might have published more.

Looking over the list on Vita, pretty much.

Bamco is probably up there.

Idea Factory has a bunch of VNs out too.

Actually it was released by Idea Factory International instead of NISA.

I did remember seeing it in the Top 10 Sales for Vita games on PSN for like two months in a row so pretty good then.

I really appreciate all of these Vita games. I've been training on them so that when it comes time to touch a 3D woman, I'll know how to do it sensually.

That was Idea Factory, and it sold over 50k. They were actually quite happy with the sales and had to apologize for shortages after the initial week o sales where it sold 25k.

Aah, I see. Since they did all the Neptunia titles in the west my mind went directly to them.

I guess it had that niche appeal for people, nothing like whacking off your vita! Maybe this game will do something similar, who knows.

You're thinking of Moero Chronicles's Japanese release, not Monster Monpiece. As far as I know there's no number for how Monster Monpiece did in the west. I Hope it did bad since they censored it.

Day 1!

According to siliconera: " the company would like to turn it into a franchise similar to Criminal Girls."

I'm no more in my 20s ( :( ) and i would like more Vita games without sexy elements, but this could be a good game, let's wait tomorrow when the countdown will end to judge.

I was referring to how it did in Japan, but I guess I missed the (A) on the end of NIS..

In before it gets localized and then censored to avoid an AO rating. Also, while I can't find MM numbers, Demon Gaze sold over 200K units worldwide, and that game was even more niche than MM was. Erotic dungeon crawler > erotic card battling game.

This game is really exciting though, a different experience for sure. While you are a blacksmith by trade, there is the romance/touching stuff which will surely piss lots of people off.

Sounds interest...

And there also appears to be some sort of woman-touching element. (Making original use of that PS Vita touch screen!)

... and I'm out

I'm getting sick of this rubbish. Socially corrosive tripe motivated by creative bankruptcy.

Remaining 1 year of your life? Wait, why do you have one year of your life yet?

the women are succubi. You have one year left to decide who you want to exchange marriage vows with and they'll share their life force with you by using CG dragons.

... Will wait to see screens. Heck, there's mild "Girl (and boy!) Touching" in the Hatsune Miku Vita games! But that's not the kinda thing that'd turn anyone away from the game. Lets see if it's realistically "MILDLY Ecchi"... Heck, even shows as innocent-ish as Voltron had Mildly Ecchi Moments...

I honestly wouldn't mind a game that let you use "character touching" in unique ways. Could be as meaningful as dialoge choices if done for more than pervy tendencies. Brushing the hair out of someone's face, patting them on the shoulder in a reassuring way, picking a leaf out of their hair, or handing them the weapons you think they should use in battle... it doesn't all have to be bad.

Slightly hopeful... The idea of something kinda like Miner Dig Deep or Spelunky with a Japanese twist + weapon making could really be fun, if they don't over-perv it up.
