Got to level 4 absolutely love this game so far. I actually did not ever think of picking it up but I know that I will. So I am no longer playing the beta because if I level up too much I will not want to go through the hassle of doing it all over again. Will be jumping on Saturday for beta perk but other then that. Release can't come soon enough
Man, I'm floored. I was expecting the Xbox One version to be rough but it turned out gorgeous even at the lower Beta resolution. Haven't been wowed by graphics like that in a long time -- I play most games on a decked out PC and Destiny's lighting easily hangs with the best there. The UI is probably the slickest I've ever seen in a game, music and sound design are beautiful, gunplay is tight and challenging, the sparrow is an instant classic, and while the seamless coop sounded like total marketing nonsense, it's actually incredibly exciting whenever people pop in or when I help some others out (I just haven't figured out how to always keep going with the same people).
I've only put in a couple hours and it's still a beta but my only issues so far are: I haven't found any loot bins after the "boss" battles at missions which is confusing and the timer makes me feel like maybe I'm supposed to find the loot before I get warped back out of the mission but it's unclear, the character customizer in the beginning is lacking, and the load times are annoyingly long.

Guys, any words on how much single player content will it have? also, its gonna be more like a Cod/bf4 campaing, being there for the sake of having single player, or will it be actually good? man i'm really riding the hype train on this.

Im sure the campaign will be much better than anything cod or bf has put out. Think more along the lines of a halo campaign and you will be on the right track. Definitely not just there for the sake of having it, lots of hidden lore.
Multiplayer will have longevity for some, not for others. A little too early to tell with just this small sample. I didn't like it at first but fell in love after the iron banner.

It's an online only game, you can solo it (or atleast the beta) but imo it's best enjoyed with friends. As for the story mode and exploration side of the game, for me that's the main part of Destiny. The competitive multiplayer is great too, but thusfar I had the most fun playing exploration and strike missions.

That's not a glitch, that's how it's supposed to be. Basically so people don't switch guns constantly in pvp. Have to find ammo after switching your special weapons.

pretty sure thats not a glitch the idea is there is a penalty for swaping on the fly.

That's not a glitch or bug...it's a penalty for switching those types of weapons mid-game...the ammo going to 0 is supposed to happen
The heart of the game is the story. It's just an mmo fps.

Xbox One version loads quicker. Also, the controls feel less heavy compared to the PS4.
Interesting to see how this will look on the one with the 1080P patch....

Once you're in the party menu, I believe you're supposed to set your party to joinable. Problem is there's a bug, so you may need to leave party snapped in order to hear chat.

Must have gotten in before all the 360 problems...started downloading the beta almost right when it went up on 360, got it downloaded quickly with no problems and me and 2 other friends just played for the last few hours with no problems at all. Meanwhile two of our other friends have been downloading it for hours now and are only at like 70%, servers must be getting wrecked. Other than one of us getting booted once (which was probably his internet, happens occasionally) no problems at all.
And yeah, 360 version definitely looks better than the PS3 version...noticeably. I'm realllllly hoping I can swing a PS4 by the time this comes out, because if not I really don't want to play the PS3 version until I can, but if I go 360 I can't carry that progress over
