And, I don't believe I've ever played Bravoman. I'll have to check it out.
If you want more of, uhh, that, you know where to find it.

So here I am at the start screen (it's been paused here while I was writing this entire post) willingly playing the first Mario game I've ever played (non-cooperatively) in about a decade. Kirby didn't deliver on my return to Nintendo's old popular IP, so let's see if Mario can work his mysterious Italian magic. My Buddy's Text Message said:If you have to force yourself to play a platformer, play Super Mario 3D Land for 3DS. It is the faith restoring unique inventive entry of the series.
Somebody please explain to me why the run/attack button in NSMBU is Y instead of B. Feels weird using Y and B instead of B and A
It's been B and Y since Super Mario World. But I think there was an option to change that in NSMBU.
I just beat World 1.Your friend is right - Mario 3D Land is the best Mario game since Mario 64 (and while 3D World for Wii U has topped 3D Land, it's still a great game).
Just forget all about Sunshine and the Galaxy games - they're all mediocre at best - and enjoy Mario 3D Land.
This option does not exist in SM3L?It's been B and Y since Super Mario World. But I think there was an option to change that in NSMBU.

coolasj19. For a game to redeem on the eShop at all the download has to start. So no you can't use a 3DS to redeem a Wii U game. Can you use the 3DS eShop to redeem codes for games only playable on the WiiU?
Apparently the translation was very much a "me so solly" type of thing as well.EDIT: So despite all logic, Be Ball has an even worse name in English: Chew Man Fu.

Is there a reason Super Tennis has never been released on VC? Was it released in Japan?
Alright. Thanks. Here's the deal. I'm in the position to acquire a few game codes from the Mario Kart 8 free game thing, but they expire. So, redeeming via a 3DS isn't gonna work. I wanted to do it through there because it's the only system currently linked with my NNID.coolasj19. For a game to redeem on the eShop at all the download has to start. It wasn't released on any VC anywhere yet. I don't know if there's anything holding it back, I don't remember any licenses in it and as far as I know no third party developer was involved.

Next question. Is it possible to use a friends WiiU to redeem the codes, without permanently affecting his NNID? Can I "log out" of his NNID on his WiiU, "log in" to my NNID on the same WiiU, claim the codes, and then "log out". Of course, letting my friend have his WiiU, NNID, and games purchases intact at the end of the process. And if I were to claim the games this way, would I still be able to download them to my own WiiU when I buy one for Splatoon?
I just beat World 1.
I did not hate playing it.
I may have cracked a few smiles that may have been caused by having fun.
This is a historic day.

Siesta Fiesta is that relatively rare occurrence on the 3DS eShop — a game that delivers on all of its promises. It innovates without compromising on quality or complicating matters beyond the reach of inexperienced players, and is perfect either for extended play sessions of a quick level on the bus; with a lot of top-notch content and an affordable price, it shows that with skill and care developers can still deliver real quality to the portable. A must have on 3DS.
Weird week coming up on the Wii U Virtual Console in Japan: Mysterious Murasame Castle, Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge, some SFC interactive novel (Otogiriso?) and Neutopia II and something called Be Ball on PC Engine.
So, really, a bunch of crap we'll never see and a Mega Man game I personally have zero interest in. Any chance we get Murasame Castle as an import? Those Euros already have it on 3DS.
EDIT: So despite all logic, Be Ball has an even worse name in English: Chew Man Fu.
Nintendo Life *really* liked Siesta Fiesta, scoring it a 9/10:

I guess if it's that good I might want to check it out.

In case anyone missed this. This is also the guy that attacks me because I complain about how awful NOA is and yet he thinks Galaxy is mediocre.
It was a 3rd party game actually, by Tonkin House. Nintendo just picked it up for the American and European markets. It wasn't released on any VC anywhere yet. Picked up a 3DS XL on Thursday and anyways does the 3DS have any dungeon crawler games?
I bought both Galaxy games on launch and still haven't played them![]()

Mario Galaxy "mediocre at best" is the most heinous thing I've read in gaf in a while. Only a monster could write something like that, even in jest.
3D World is better than both of the Galaxy games though
