Huh? Isn't the screenshot uploading tool taking uncompressed pics? The one where you have to use i.nintendo.net to upload pics on Twitter/Facebook.
Well I uploaded pics to Minus directly and my WWHD pics were 720p (spoilers) so unless something changed or i.nintendo.net is better I assumed that was just how it was. I can double check later.
3DS Miiverse should be fine though. In fact New Leaf screenshots are better quality through Miiverse than the built in screenshot taker.
