Probably not too well considering how punishable all of his moves are, mid tier I'd say.
Easily punishable moves + defensive game, doesn't generally work out.

That island stage will get banned, but it wasn't a walkoff.
I feel like that was due facing Bowser. You see how Toon Link isn't playing very defensively against Bowser and doing poorly? Sheik was playing defensively and still couldn't pull off the win. Toon Link is getting dominated by Bowser in this match.
It seems like Bowser is a character you want to play more defensively against. But I'm guessing that is more due to the unfamiliarity with the game and it would probably be not that way as more people know the Bowser match up.
It isn't a walk-off stage.

Yeah for reals, I'm so glad the Bowser player wised up and started punishing him real good for being so obvious.
Can you grab on to the sand like a ledge, though? If so, this is a weird 'neither walk off nor platform' stage.
He should have been using projectiles more to control the space so he could get clean hits.

Could be that it's against Bowser, but that Sheik did win in Sudden Death. I do think the Sheik could've approached more, but if approaches are very punishable, you'll see camping more.

I dunno, I think the Bowser just wasn't playing as great against camping. This current match-up of Bowser/Sheik is having Bowser just destroy the camp attempts.

A theory is that Bowser encourages aggresive play we're not seeing from anyone. That last luigi only used dash A and this guy's reads are the only that a true smash player would do. The other guys are clueless...

Of course dude, doing it for comic relief... The truth is he is the best player around, other ppl are soft and slow. Sheik could beast everyone out but that Sheik player sucked hard...

lol? This match is entirely based around camping getting wrecked.
If the sheik was playing defensive properly, the bowser would be getting destroyed, his moves are way too unsafe to be used as a good offense so all you need to do is block or roll until he whiffs, this sheik is doing a load of stupid shit.
