I bet the first trailer will be in front of Mockingjay.

I'd count on it being on Big Hero 6, which is out on the first week of November.

Another Thanos set-up? Doctor Strange?

Strange hasn't even been cast yet though.

While I agree with you that I don't think it'll be Doctor Strange, it wouldn't be far-fetched for Marvel to film something in relation to Strange. Iron Man 2 just had Thor's hammer and Coulson reporting to Fury. Easy enough to do if they pull off something in the same vein for Strange.

It's gotta be Nova, right? Like Strange seems like something to tease after Ant-Man, we're getting screwed out of Avengers footage, so Nova.

One other really cool thing... You know how Ultron's speech is all about strings? The music playing in the background throughout this footage underlines Marvel's parent company. It's a creepy version of Pinocchio's “I Got No Strings.” And the footage ends with a fully rebuilt, intimidating and functioning Ultron... not the wreck we've seen up till this point, but shiny, silver and ready to rumble... looking at the camera and ending his speech with “There are no strings on me.”

WOW!

Has off-camera footage of the Ant-Man and Avengers 2 trailers hit yet?

I really wanna see Ultron. The AICN description sounds awesome.

”I had a vision: the whole world screaming for mercy. Everyone tangled in strings. Strings...”

Marvel must be very confident GOTG will do big numbers, man I hope they really go through with the Thunderbolts movie now.

Which villains would you chose for a Thunderbolts movie? I'm assuming they'd have to be established as villains before getting a redemption arc.

Actually, we should probably see an Avengers vs Masters of Evil movie before Thunderbolts.

Kevin Feige Talks AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, ANT-MAN, DOCTOR STRANGE, the Future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Plans for Thanos, and Much More http://collider.com/avengers-2-details-thanos-kevin-feige/#r7zJAhBizDZp3SEr.99
FEIGE: Well we haven’t really talked about when we’ll see Avengers 3. I presume we’d like to stick to three years between Avengers movies like we did. So it will probably be three years between Avengers 2 and Avengers 3.
So, fixing this...

If that's the case, Thor 3 and Strange and Black Panther fill out the last phase 3 spots.

Captain Marvel the first film after avengers.

I don't buy it, simply because I don't think GotG 2 will be the only cosmic film this phase. It's always possible A3 could be the second 2018 movie though.

Thor 3 is kinda cosmic depending on where they take it and if the AoU Thor rumors are true (please let it be true)

I understand Marvel Studios only exist to make Marvel films but they have to be (should if they aren't) concerned about saturation and franchise (or universe in this case) fatigue that will hit the audience. The negative impact it could have on superhero films or worse just their films alone. Resulting in a situation where people get excited about Sony, Fox, and WB/DC even more so then they normally would because their films will appear fresher, new and more event like because they're aren't releasing films three times a year, annually.

Why would you guys want another Avengers lead-in post-credits scene instead of a teaser for a new Marvel property?

2016 is gonna be a crazy year for superhero movies.

Nah. I mean he is but he isn't really part of the "cosmic universe" he is part of the Avengers universe. When Feige talks about the cosmic side of the MCU he means the not-Avengers parts. I'm also pretty sure going to 3 films a year is expressly for cosmic stuff. This way they still have two "Avengers" movies, but are just now adding cosmic to the mix.

So I stand by what I said. Even if A3 is a 2018 movie (which I don't think we can necessarily assume) I think we will get another cosmic film outside of GotG 2 prior to it.

What rumors?

Thor and Jane break up off screen which would cut the dead weight tying him to earth allowing him to cut loose in space and other realms.

Marvel isn't releasing only Batman & Superman films..... or only Wolverine films.....or only Spider-man films in mass.

Whoa. So they potentially already have the dates of Phase 4 movies planned as well.
They do have all the movies planned until 2028, so yeah :P

If that's the case, Thor 3 and Strange and Black Panther fill out the last phase 3 spots.

Captain Marvel the first film after avengers.
That seems really likely yes, even if I'd have preferred a Captain Marvel this phase.

Could still be later. I really hope it's a two part film with the first in Nov which is still three years.
He does say "probably", and don't really think they'll do a 2 parter. But if they do release later, Phase 3 is going to end up really long compared to the others (in amount of movies, not time).

The interview mentions that they are going off the deep end with Doctor Strange, Feige even calls it an acid trip. So that'd be """cosmic""" too :P

Please let this happen. Really want Thor 3 announced. ;_;
Thor 3 is definitely happening.

Gonna give this a whirl:

August 1, 2014: Guardians of the Galaxy
May 1, 2015: Avengers: Age of Ultron
July 17, 2015: Ant-Man
May 6, 2016: Captain America 3
July 8, 2016: Doctor Strange
May 5, 2017: Thor 3
July 28, 2017: Guardians of the Galaxy 2
November 3, 2017: Ant-Man 2
May 4, 2018: Avengers 3
July 6, 2018: Black Panther
November 2, 2018: Hulk
May 3, 2019: Iron Man 4

Would be cool if I get a few right lol

I kinda hope they had a solo thanos film before his eventual fight with avengers. I mean just to know his backstory more. Loki us a fun villain in avengers because we already know a loy about him from thor movie. We still didn't know anything about thanos.

Also, a villain movie could be a really interesting choice for marvel, it'd be very different from their usual superheroes movie. Explain thanos origin, his motivation etc.

Gonna give this a whirl:

May 4, 2018: Avengers 3
July 6, 2018: Black Panther
November 2, 2018: Hulk
May 3, 2019: Iron Man 4

Holy shit, I'm gonna be 30 by that point.
