Well as long as they don't promise anything, they'll always have the possibility to have months with only one game from time to time, for convenience.

Nah, I finished the game without spending anything but the initial 20€. You can get everything you need with ingame currency (if anything, you get too much of it, only special items require grinding or a bit of luck when purchasing random items with the game currency)
Just don't use gems as additional lives when you die. If you die, you die. And start the level again. It's a bit old-school, but the levels are very short anyway, and once your dragon is powerful enough, you won't die as much.
 
Great month for Games with Gold! I had Strike Suit Zero on my "buy when on sale" list. This certainly qualifies. Crimson Dragon also looked interesting but not enough to purchase. I'm happy.
 
I may give Dishonored another chance. I rented the game and it didn't really click with me but I'll try again since it's free :)

Also, Motocross Madness is a pretty fun game I would recommend trying it out.

Exploration mode is where it's at.

It has pretty long load-times though.

Two games I dont have and was actually looking into getting SSZ some time.

Good month! Seems they listened after how many people were disappointed after Max being on 2 months in a row.
 
I've gotten all the games given out for Games with Gold so far. Crimson Dragon will definitely be added; not sure about Strike Suit Zero.
 
Played Crimson Dragon(Bad) and have Strike Suit on PC. Guess there's not gonna be a reason to switch on the Xbone this month.

Will certainly give Motocross Madness a shot though.

Sure. My point is that I would have preferred to have the games that I wanted to play (and didn't already own) over two games I have no real interest in.

Oh I didn't expect any of them (except perhaps Murdered Soul Suspect). The games in my post are the games currently released that I would like to come to GwG (or DwG for that matter).

For the month of August, Xbox Live Gold members can look forward to two new free games on both Xbox One and Xbox 360. Crimson Dragon and Strike Suit Zero will become free downloads on August 1st,

On Xbox 360, starting Friday, August 1st, Motocross Madness (normally US $9.99) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through August 15th.
Then on August 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can download Dishonored (normally US $19.99) for free through August 31st.

Ah, nice month. Glad they stepped up and did two games for August.

I already own Crimson Dragon but now I can play some multiplayer with friends that didn't buy it so that works out well and Strike Suit Zero was a game that I always wanted to grab but $20 was way too steep in my opinion so having it as a GWG is perfect for me.
 
Was hoping for Ryse but I'm excited for these 2 games. Seriously though I hope Ryse comes out free in the next few months would love to try out the co-op for that game.
 
and I've just bought the dishonored not too long ago on the sale.. hate when they do that! :(

..anyways congrats on those who are getting it for free. It's a good game. :)

True, but it was never the micro-transaction fest that the games media let you to believe. I finished it without trouble and without ever spending a single cent on micro-transactions.
 
Why did I buy Strike Suit Zero this month? WHY?! Always had a feeling I'd be wasting that gamestop money on something that was GWG material, but ahhhhhh.

I've been interested in Crimson Dragon since launch. This isn't a kinect only game right?

Wonder if they switched it to 2 new games because of feedback.

Hope MS know them offering these games now legitimately pleases me. As someone who has been on Xbox Live for 9 years I was growing ever more frustrated by their 'not giving a shit' approach to competing with Sony and PS+.

Better late than never.

It shows us a lot of good will offering 'free' stuff and drives discussion/speculation each month over 'whats it gonna be??'. Bit of fun and excitement.

Still hoping for Peggle 2 one day!

I don't know about you, but I had a blast with guacamelee. I never would have played this game without gwg. Glad I got to play it. I wanted to buy dishonered but was waiting on the bargain bin. I think gwg is great this month.
 
crimson dragon is actually pretty fun once youve upgraded your ride a bit and call in a buddy to help you. strike suit zero doesnt interest me all the much, but i'll take it. and dishonored is very nice. good deals next months.
