Yes, perfect.

Wait, Danketsu was in a Katamari game? o_O

Yeah, the 360 one when iM@S was literally the only thing the 360 had going for it in regard to Japan so they put it in anything they could. Some people say the Kinect was one of MS' big blunders of last gen. I'd argue losing the iM@S exclusivity was worse since it basically lost them the whole market.

This stage is beautiful.

The paper, the folding page transition, the boat, the sunset, the water reflections and the giant paper look Blooper.

Well done Sakurai.

So, not only did gaf magically summon a paper Mario stage, but once they started wishing it was a TTYD stage instead, it magically turned into a TTYD stage too???

Dat gaf juju man.

Thinking back to what I was taking about in terms of assists earlier, I'd love some form of 'Assist Team' mode in the WiiU version (don't think the 3DS could handle it with 4 players).

Everyone selects their character, then you go to a secondary CSS where every selects a single assist trophy, it can be played stock or time or whatever, but in this mode when you press b whilst in shield (this way it can only be done on ground), you can call your assist to do a single attack, after they attack the assist will strike a pose/taunt and then jump off the stage, you wouldn't be able to reuse the assist until they'd left, to prevent any sort of infinites popping up.

I'd love to be able to have like a Samus and Dark Samus team or a Megaman and Elecman team, you could also do stuff like Wario and Waluigi as well.

I know this is from ten pages ago, but I never realized how badly I wanted a Game Boy as a playable character in Smash. Now I'm stuck knowing it'll never happen.

Well, not never, but it sure isn't happening in Smash 4.

This must be a dream. Paper Mario finally being represented... I can't even...

Are you telling me there's a chance for playable Paper Mario? One of my top five most requested characters ever since Melee?

- Ridley
- Isaac
- Paper Mario
- Little Mac
- Dixie Kong

Back in the roster he goes:

On the topic of games that get more hate than they deserve, Phantom Hourglass.
Very fun and well made game, had a cool side character in Linebeck, and I'm a bit of a sucker for that sort of boating atmosphere. The music (aside from Linebeck's theme) wasn't great, I'll give people that. But it's not terrible, and it's certainly better than Spirit Tracks. That game was just unenjoyable.

Spirit Tracks has better temples, a better core temple, better music and improved mechanics. Also the final boss feels like a final boss rather than just another end of dungeon boss. Would it have hurt to give it some personality? I don't understand how one could like PH and then not like ST when it is basically better in every way.

Also playable Zelda.

Will G&W have an outline over his outline on the 3DS version?

E: Smashboards now has a timer to the 3DS release on their site as well, pretty cool, not so keen on the updated art at the top of the page but it's not as garish.

For Melee and I mained Link. But for Brawl I mained Snake.

Now that Snake isn't confirmed to be in the new Smash yet, I've been going back to Brawl and practicing like mad with Link again.

Anybody else doing something similar?

G&W was redesigned to no longer have an outline in the Pac-man trailer. I'm guessing for that very reason.

One of the best Gamecube games ever and that's saying a fucking lot.

The Gamecube was like one of those super coin blocks that just spits out gold. What a ridiculously well-aged and consistent stream of quality.

Yeah, I read previous pages and find old posts that need to be responded to. So what.

More replies = more hype! Keep it coming.

Also, I don't see what's so "papery" about the Paper Mario stage. I could have mistaken it for something spawned from that randomly generated stage.

It's a good machine to own now, but at the time the droughts could be pretty bad even if like me you were willing to buy anything like Donkey Konga and Mario DDR.

Oh yeah he didn't have an outline.

But what if you turn outlines off and play on that pacman stage?

E: Also I didn't even like his apparent redesign lol.

Also August is the anniversary of Metroid, Pyrosphere was first revealed last August, there's probably going to be a Nintendo Direct in August.

It's all coming together.

Well, what you guys will talk about tonight?

The paper element of the serie is more present in puzzles or in the battle system.. Its not very evident on the map
