Baraka in the White House
2-Terms of Kombat
Really want to get pissed off? Turn on AM radio today and listen to Rush, Hannity, etc. fellate Israel vigorously.
I'd wager the US also supports Israel because they (and a few other countries) consider Hamas to be an official terrorist organization. Let Israel kill a few and it is less the US have to worry about it.
If they attack a spot with no Hamas affiliation/connection in a 250-500m radius.
Quoting sensationalistic/biased journos won't do it for me. As much as you like to blame Fox News, etc. for their bias, the BBCs, Guardians, etc. of this world are as equally biased.
The US should stay out of it. The US is in a lose-lose situation here. They have literally nothing to gain by doing something.
Besides, people claiming the US HAS to get involved will be the first ones to criticize the US once they are involved ("OMG, they always meddle in everybody's business" shtick).
Jerusalem Post article:
So Hamas militants store weapons and munition in schools and they fire at the IDF from schools. It fits right in with their pattern of hiding behind civilians to fight this war and using those civilian deaths as a propaganda tool.
"Most Moral Army in the World."
The Israeli ambassador to Ireland uttered those words during a radio interview last week. Made me sick.

In regards to this UNRWA school, it does appear it was again targeted due to rockets inside of the school.

Which still does not make attacking the school directly anything but a war crime.

"We condemn the group or groups who endangered civilians by placing these munitions in our school. This is yet another flagrant violation of the neutrality of our premises. We call on all the warring parties to respect the inviolability of U.N. property," Gunness said in a statement.
U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon last week expressed alarm at the discovery of 20 rockets at a vacant UNRWA school and at another school a week before that.
Unless they are also not aware of the rockets being there. There's at least three schools that have had rockets in them. It would come as no surprise that more would have rockets.
In its press release, UNRWA’s spokesperson said that the discovery was made during a routine inspection of the school, “which was closed for the summer and not being used as a shelter.”

Underground tunnels make this relatively painless to do for Hamas.Gemüsepizza;123294926 said:That's absurd. When a shelter is in active use, there is hardly any chance that militants can hide weapons there.
This is ridiculous. They inspect the schools. You think they can find rockets in empty schools but somehow don't know rockets are in packed schools with hundreds of people.Unless they are also not aware of the rockets being there. There's at least three schools that have had rockets in them. It would come as no surprise that more would have rockets.
So Hamas is storing rockets in a UN controlled school?
What do you think the Israeli army should do when militants are firing at them from schools, mosques and hospitals? Or using schools and mosques to store weapons and as entry points for their tunnels. Do nothing? Why is there no outrage over the way Hamas is using innocent civilians as shields?
This is precisely the reason why there are so many civilian casualties in this senseless conflict.

I don't know why there's a new thread for all of these.
Was a thread created when it turned out the playground was actually hit by a Hamas rocket, and not the IDF? I know it was a huge story here when it looked like it was IDF.
All the deaths from this war are tragic, but the way it's discussed on GAF is pretty fucked in its own way.
I'm sorry remove Israel's excuse? Someone needs to militarily enforce Israel to be complicit in a peace plan like that.We need a unified Armed forces that consists of countries that are proIsrael, proPalestinian and unbiased to insure:
1.Placing a law that forbids forces like Hamas to owning weapons.
2.Ensure the safety of Palestinians in Palestinian Territories
3.Remove the excuse Israel uses to push its agenda.
It's more than just a margin of error when the proportions are so out of line. The number of dead civilians highly exceeds the number of dead militants.Do you have any proof, though? Isn't IDF responding to Hamas sites, rocket launch spots or ammo caches? Also, there is (unfortunatelyla margin of error with military attacks and collateral damage.
Just pointing out here that people are very quick to blame Israel for everything without giving it the benefit of the doubt.
Israel wants more land to build more settlements, their only obstacles are the Palestinians who happen to live there before Israel was even on the map, is the best way to deal with problem is to kick Palestinian out of their land or in Gaza situation out of existence.I'm sorry remove Israel's excuse? Actually both sides are pretty bad at that.Who are the ones not respecting the cease fires again?
