I'm a little late, but I'm so excited for the Paper Mario stage! Did Sakurai explain how the "page flipping" would work? It seems like in some stages that change, there is a danger involved like platforms shifting away while in others there is no danger.

No, he hasn't explained it, but given that the transformation is so drastic, I imagine there won't be any danger to it. It'll probably be like Castle Siege.

I saw a video of the NSMBU stage where someone did a recovery move onto a platform that was sinking away and they died. Man, I really want to avoid that kind of hazard as much as possible!
