This would make sense.

At the same time, I'd be surprised to see more than 4 characters in a series pre-release. I'm still surprised we saw 5 for Mario pre-release.

We have 4 Fire Emblem characters and 4 Pokemon characters.

You'll take your Link, Zelda, Sheik and Toon Link pic with Midna assist trophy and like it. If we're lucky maybe we'll get a new Zelda stage for Wii U.

The Temple for Wii U PLEASE!

Nah. I don't particularly care for avatar bets. Even if I won, I doubt I'd be assed enough to actually make you change your avatar. I will add you to the list of people I'll laugh at, though.

And you too. You're both on the list. Anyone else?
That list will be useless. Waste of time it is.

First rule of internet forums

Dont talk about things you dont want people to talk about.

Now, what new moves are we expecting Ganondorf to have?

sorry dont hurt me :(
He really only needs three new moves.

1. Standard special - electric projectile
2. Up special - some kind of teleport
3. Down special - anything but a random kick

I'd be completely content with those changes.

Yuck, bestmovesetdorf needs to stay bestmovesetdorf. Only move I'd want changes to (from the Melee/Project M versions of Ganondorf) would be the neutral special.

You're gonna make me go and find that post aren't you?

Can we at least reanimate most of his normals so even if they're identical to Melee/Project M hitbox/stat-wise he's using a sword instead of Falcon's kicks?

Call me crazy, but I think Ganondorf having attacks that he actually uses in the Zelda games makes more sense than a cloned tokusatsu hero moveset.

Exactly.

Honestly, all Ganondorf needs is 3 new special moves and he'd be set imo.

Neutral Special - Dead Man's Volley: When tapped, Ganondorf throws a singular magicball. Most Melee attacks can reflect the projectile. It will get stronger with each bounce.

If the attack is charged up (cannot be saved) then Ganondorf will throw 5 at once which are harder to reflect overall due to them going on weird trajectories

Side Special - Flame Choke: Same as in Brawl on ground. In the air though Ganondorf will continue his momentum as he grabs his opponent. He can then suicide them off the stage or what not.

Up Special - Possessport: Ganondorf teleports through the Twilight. If he teleports directly on the opponent (think Jiggypuff rest hitbox) then he and the opponent switches spots. If not, then it's a normal non damaging teleport.

I'd be quite open to many other Up Specials for him though. This was just what came off the top of my head

Down Special - Gerudo Drop: Ganondorf punches the ground which creates a shockwave around him. It pops up enemies and gets stronger the closer they are to him. Range is about one Bowser away from him in either direction. Only hits grounded enemies. When done in the air Ganondorf crashes down fist first into the ground. Strong sweet spot is on his fist, otherwise it acts like the grounded one when he hits the ground.

So would anyone be opposed to that for Ganondorf? He can keep his A moves as they are actually pretty awesome, and maybe be a tad bit faster. Link's speed is a good comparison. They should be close to equal.

And here it is

Hyrule Temple is my favorite stage in the series but I'd love a new stage as well. Since WW just got rereleased on wii u maybe they can give us the WW stage we deserve.

I think perhaps the most logical and would be the easiest solution would be to let you choose between a new set of specials or his old set of specials. Palutena gets three sets of specials. I think Ganondorf could get two since he is a special case.

Why do you like Ganondorf as a Captain Falcon clone? Wouldn't, if you were in charge of drafting Ganondorf as a new fighter, you put a lot more thought into his moveset than to borrow it from a character who isn't even from his series?

Ganondorf's significantly different stats means he plays differently to Falcon, but I absolutely agree that he should have his own moveset by now and I don't see why his old one can't either be custom moves for Falcon or even made into a quick 'clone' that can serve as a 2nd F-Zero rep.

I'd be perfectly fine with giving Dorf's current stats/moves to Black Shadow and then giving Dorf a mostly or wholly original moveset.

We're at the halfway point, so I'm going to remind you that the Thread Title Suggestion Box for Thread 12 is still open. QUOTE TO REVEAL LINK!!!
