What What What? Jigglypuff was at bottom list for priority in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. From top of my head, Jigglypuff, Wolf, Toon Link and Sonic were last 4 characters being added to the Brawl. Mewtwo and Roy (maybe) got cut due to Sonic's last minutes inclusion.
You know that I love my jiggly and I would like to see him back as well.
Best route in the entire series. I try to use Castform in every RSE runthrough because of it.
Is there any evidence, outside of them not having a role in the SSE, to support Jiggles, Wolf, and Toon Link being finished last? Considering who all he was gonna include, and how many cutscenes that likely wouldn't have featured the cut characters didn't even get finished, I don't think he intended for every character to make an appearance during the main story of the SSE.

I think I heard in an interview once that dorf was a last minute inclusion and didn't have time to balance him. Not sure of the validity of that because of his place in SSE and my awful memory
Wow, I had lost hope for N's Castle. Pretty good. Milotic seems irrelevant though.
Pic of the day. Reshiram appears on one of the stages in the 3DS version! Zekrom and Milotic will appear, too. It's close enough to the launch date, so I don't have to describe this stage to you, right? The design of this stage is based off of the surroundings of someone's castle.
Jigglypuff is iconic to the series. I don't think any of the original 12 will be cut.
That'd surprise me, his role is pretty important to the SSE plus his moves are much more changed than they were in Melee.
I do remember reading he was the last added character in Melee, added almost solely because he was popular and his frame matched Captain Falcon's.

RB=GS=RSE>FRLG>B2W2>BW>DPPt>XY>HGSS>ORAS in terms of Male character design. Roughly the same for females, though I'd probably swap BW and B2W2, and Platinum and HGSS would be higher.
Roll as a Mega Man alt would be cool.
You wanted some peeps with a bit more mobility and foot capability than a boxer, understandable.
I like steve and play him. Though Imma Kazuya dude through and though, and Muigel now because he is also a cool guy and plays wonderful. Muigel just work. I used to use Hworang and Baek a while back. Never used dragonov .

So I think someone did this once before quite awhile ago, but I was bored tonight with little to do, so I decided to count up a tally of how many times each character has been featured in a pic of the day. It's just for fun and obviously things are skewed by when and in what order characters have been revealed, but hey, why not?
A couple notes:
- There are a couple of screens where only Pikmin appear or only Rush appears, but I counted these as appearances for Olimar and Mega Man respectively since they're integral part of their movesets and mean those characters are actually in the shots.
- In shots where two instances of the same character appear (i.e. female and male Wii Fit Trainer or two different colors of the same character), I counted them as two separate instances of that character.
- In shots that are divided into separate parts (like Little Mac's side smash explanation or Pac-Man's taunt), I only counted that as one instance of the character.
- In series of screenshots showing the same match (like the explanation of the 3D Land stage), I counted each screenshot (and instance of the character) separately.
- I lumped the three different kinds of Mii Fighters together because it's sometimes hard to tell what type a Mii Fighter is supposed to be at just a glance.
- There was one instance where I could not tell who a character was (the right-most character in the first 3DS Golden Plains shot). I have my guesses, but I did not count this character since I wasn't sure.
- This only includes the pics of the day, and not any of the screens from the various press packs or screenshot collections released by Nintendo.
- I don't 100% guarantee the accuracy of these numbers, but they should be really close if they're not perfect. I didn't care enough to go back and double-check everything.

I would say the mishima's have that down, but yeah I know what you talking about. That cut scene is indeed funny.
I also Like leo, even though she is unapologetic ally just Rock Howard. Though I also like C. Viper who is Just black widow, down to name even.

Just noticed that in the reveal trailer of the game, the Villager has planted a ton of saplings adjacent to each other; what a scrub.
Aye, but Heiachi Karate is Best Karate. The Mishima's need to speak, Dragunov can't speak, or at least I've never heard him speak.
Dragonoff is communicating with his alien overlords at all times. He does not have time to speak. Also kazuya karate is the best karate.
Wire frame is only a different colour, the hoodie is a proper alt.
That said, no to tekken alts please.
If there's going to be a character alt from a completely different franchise then the character might as well be a clone.

Like other fighting games, you can just get more alts.
