That isn't a trailer.
I don't think the majority of people watch comic con panels

Because we all read the interviews right?

It is great that it isn't a spoiler to some. I don't get why people have to be so obstinate to those of us who were trying to know as little as possible.

It's not everyone elses job to make sure you stay uninformed. That's your job. The movie's on it's way out. People are talking about it. If you don't wanna know anything, then stay away from those places where people are talking about it.

But aside from all that. It's a fucking character in a movie. It's not a plot point, it's not the ending, it's not a surprise twist. It's literally, hey, this guy is in this.

Where's the outrage for all the open Thanos discussion in here? Anything from the comics being posted could constitute a potential spoiler, people were discussing Thanos' character and motivations openly in the previous page. These are far more important than whether or not Thanos is in GotG, because they represent potentialities for all future Marvel films featuring Thanos.

Nowhere, because it doesn't fucking matter. There is no real, rational argument to be had here, just people whining over nothing of consequence and making threads all the worse for it.

This is a Thanos thread discussing the character and his movie appearance, one would expect discussion about Thanos. For the record I do agree that spoiler complaints are way out of control, I'm just trying to establish what your stance is beyond people need to stop being dicks about spoilers. Like perhaps more comprehensive ToS rules banning thread shit post about spoilers in favor alerting mods, but having some more clear rules about how to go about discussing spoilers.

Guys, is Thanos being in The Last Guardian confirmation that it isn't really canceled and Y2Kev is wrong and also a jerk?

There are four things that are certain in life:

Death
Taxes
The Streak-oh shit

There are THREE things that are certain in life:
Death
Taxes
Y2Kev Being Wrong

Someone is going to spill a real spoiler in this thread and everyone is going to go home with scraped knees and tears. I can see it happening.

This is actually my favorite technique for fixing things when something is accidentally spoiled. Post a whole bunch of other shit and no one will know which is true.

This thread is wild but can we please take a moment of silence for poor besada?

Why didn't you spoiler that? I wanted to be surprised when the Hulk makes his entrance =/

Ah shit, my bad.

Well, that scene is at least a lot more pulse pounding than the Hawkeye/Tony gay sex reveal. It's just joke after joke of Hawkguy and Stark disrobing while Captain America sips whiskey and watches.

Oh, and then Gamora kills herself, Shakespeare-style.

This is one of those threads the mods just let happen so all the hyper kids can get all of that energy out of their system.

So what? It is PUBLIC information. You're on a public forum where all types of shit gets posted. It wasn't a secret, yes people seem to not keep up with all Marvel news or Comic-Con information and news, but if it has been publicly stated by Marvel, then its fair game.

If people are overreacting to this, then I am surprised there haven't been more overreaction in a ton of other threads about news being discussed and pictures being shown because some people just didn't know or want to know.

The spoiler whining in this thread are embarrassing.

I blame this absurd spoiler culture on the fact that most stories are garbage and rely way too much on crazy "twists" and "turns" to excite people. Knowing who's in the fucking movie shouldn't be a "spoiler" and if it does "spoil" the movie for you then you should evaluate what kind of garbage you are consuming.

So you're quite familiar with the character of Thanos then, I take it? So you clearly couldn't have been surprised he was going to end up in GoTG or at least mentioned.

I mean, you'd have to be quite familiar. Because surely there's no way to be spoiled by something you didn't know existed, and even if made aware of it, have no idea the importance of said thing existing or the context. Forgetting the fact that it was made public knowledge, well over a year ago.

Surely?
