I never heard it. Is it too much to ask a thread like this one to have a title like "prominent Marvel character appears in GotG post-credits scene"? And that's not a rhetorical question, I'm wondering if that's really too much to ask.

But it's not post-credits. He's an advertised character in the movie itself. It's no more a spoiler than saying Gandalf is in The Hobbit.

All I can do is shake my head at people doubling down on the "spoilers don't matter" notion here. If you don't care, just say so and don't get indignant when people get annoyed by you spoiling stuff for them. It's like vehemently arguing that I don't need to hold doors open for people right behind me. Yeah, no one's legally bound to hold open doors, but it takes such a modicum of courtesy to do so that it's pathetic to get up in arms when someone calls you out for not doing it.

Assuming the original title said who was in the post-credits scene, it could've said "major character appears in GotG post-credits".

I saw the GotG trailer in theaters but didn't see Thanos in there. Haven't followed news about the movie either. Which trailers did he show up in?
