Good luck if you try it. Just started myself, but it definitely feels like a fun way to exercise. I tried a few things like this in the past (with TV shows and films), but I did not like it. Watching Danny, Giant Bomb, and Kay Plays seems perfect as it is more passive than trying to follow a storyline of a show. I usually put a cushion over the time/distance reading on the machine, and enjoy watching the content and the time flies by.
I'm glad I stumbled into doing this, as I feel like I need to lose a bit of weight. Ever since getting a foot infection a little under 2 years, and having to get a toe amputated I feel I have been letting a few pounds add up every month (as I was overprotective of something happening to my foot again), but this seems both safe and healthy.
I hope I can keep it up, but I think I will as I am enjoying it!

It would help if people can describe what it is, because the only "It's not an MMO" reasoning that I've heard makes it sound like a terrible MMO, but still an MMO. It seems like a few months ago people were thrilled that it was finally being called an MMO after being labeled a Borderlands clone for so long before any information came out. I'm not interested in Destiny regardless, but the FPS MMO comparison seems to be pretty accurate to describe what the game plays like.

Destiny/PSO/Guild Wars 1 are MMOs in that there are a lot of people in the main social hub, but once you leave the social hub it's no longer an MMO and is more like a cooperative RPG. There might be hundreds of people in the hub itself, but you're going into missions with only a few of your buddies. It's hard to describe it with a broad term because there's not a ton of games like it. It's why usually people just compare it to PSO since that's the most well known game with that structure. The zones are instanced missions that you're going into to complete a task. Think if WoW or an equivalent MMO was only a main city and then a bunch of instanced dungeons. It'd be hard to call that an MMO because you're not running around the open world with lots of other people. Granted i've not played Destiny so i can't comment how close it is to that, but it seems to mostly share that structure.

It has the RPG qualities from an MMORPG. So FPS RPG seems appropriate.
