Whenever they give a game on PS+ that I already have a retail copy of, I sell it on eBay (as fast as possible while it's resell value is still decent). It just seems redundant to keep it.

The day I unsubscribe from PS+ is probably when I won't own any PS consoles anymore.

I've welcomed the digital replacements but can't bear to sell my disks anymore.

Ah, I referred to the European version that released this Wednesday. 5pb Games USA said it would be 10 or "10.7" euros but it apparently released at 14.49€. The only response I've seen has been pretty unambiguous. I'd have no problem buying it if they would refund the difference somehow later. But that's if.

That's much more clearcut than what we got on the European Playstation blog and on their facebook page but that's still super vague.

Was that price they originally set and they made a mistake saying the lower one was what it would be at? Did they screwup the submission to SCEE so the price got mistakenly made higher? What giveaways to makeup for it? The only thing that comes to mind is giving out some codes for people to get the game for free. It's only created more questions than answers

I am excited. Very. It's easily one of my most anticipated games for the rest of the year. Velocity Ultra was amazing.

I just realized that Cellar Doors added some Steam Achievements to the Steam version (duh) of Rogue Legacy after I had S-Ranked the game. I really, really liked it when I finished it the first time, and the Achievements seemed easy enough, so I downloaded it again to try to complete it once more...

... but the game on PC doesn't use Steam Cloud! All my progress is gone! All those unlockabled! Everything!

Should I double dip and buy it on Vita, since I'm starting from scratch again? Pls only completely unbiased personal opinions, pls. Thx.

The vita version is feature-complete - runs, plays and feels great. And there is a platinum trophy to earn, which should scratch your achievement itch. If you're not burned out yet and feeling generous to double-dip, I don't know any serious reason why not.

I went to Japan in October 2011. While in Japan I went on IRC to that group who was doing the translation patch and asked if it would work with "The Best" budget release of the game for PC. They said it would so I bought it.

The translator a few months later posted about being approached by JAST so he dropped all contact with the group in hopes of a commercial release and ended his post saying the only people he felt sorry for in all this are those poor suckers who actually paid money for the Japanese retail release expecting to be able to play it in English.

Saw that there was an English patch available for both the iPhone and iPad version (but at the time it only worked with the full version) so I bit the bullet and coughed up the $35 only to have the patch NOT work on the version of iOS I was running. Contacted the team and they said I'd need to downgrade and jailbreak my OS and it would run... I'd also have to replace all the "HD" iPad videos with the "SD iPhone ones. So I never did...

Bought the retail limited edition from JAST and now I finally have a working patch on the iPad, but since picking up both I haven't had the time to play either... sigh.

In my case I just want a nice physical copy for the Vita. I played the PC version back when the official translation wasn't even announced and it was pretty bad (the port, not the game) so I wasn't particularly interested when it got officially announced and I didn't buy it.
