Giant Bomb #8 | It's a Hit!

I'm a recent subscriber, UPF is already worth it plus I love Alt-F1 and the Powerbombcast (even with little interest in either, they're still very entertaining). Plus Dan rolling out a new subscriber only video.

At what, $4.17 a month, about a $1 a week for UPF is worth that alone. I know some people are in positions where every dollar counts, but, that's a nice value. As much as I'd pay for a Redbox rental on a weekend. And it supports the guys directly.

I have to agree, I feel like I'm stealing their content with the Mother's Day Subscription offer I bought. It's about 40p per week!

Totally. The sub is perfectly priced. I hope they continue the trend of doing one premium couch video per week that isn't UPF (like Mario Party).

Hey does anyone know where I can catch all of the rektreational matches? Will they all be on GB? Or are they on different streams??

When was the last one? I know a bunch of other podcasts I listen to recently had their demo survey pleas to help get an idea of what ads to get, maybe they're figuring out what to do next.

The last one was basically when Vinny left the show. They even did an ad read where Small Businessman was leaving.

It just seems strange that they haven't found a new way to do the ads, if they are even interested in doing them at all in the first place.

You know what they should do though? Get a Nature Box subscription and Dan can describe all the new foods he is forced to eat each month/week. It's a podcast ad that writes itself.
And you know, with this new Harry's razor blade thing that's going through all the podcasts, Dan could talk about how he shaves with his new razor.
 
man i think my video card maybe dying or something because i'm getting some garbage in the screen when watching GB videos. Strangely doesn't seem to happen with other videos.

A few of their videos have had encoding problems lately (at least Mario Party Party and Pure Pool).

Oh that's what happened then, damn i thought my video card was dying. Thanks a lot man!
Btw that mario party video was fucking gold , i subscribed because of that. I hope dan can manage to trick the guys into a few more mario party videos.

Wait, only obscure wrestling reference? That's entirely unfair. You need multiple levels of wrestling reference. Reference to a specific wrestler by name, reference to a catch phrase, and then you can have the more obscure reference to a wrestling feud or specific moment. If you just have one wrestling moment square you may as well put it in the middle and make it the free square.
 
Watching the pool quicklook... why don't these games feature some characters ... crazy, outrageous characters? They would be so much more interesting!

It actually did. The Luigi one seemed cool but that hide and seek-type one was pretty awesome. Dan's bringing some interesting games to the table, between this, that sumo thing, Mount Your Friends and even Twisted Metal from the Bombastica.
