PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | August 2014

Hmmm for some reason I can't add FEZ for Vita to my cart on the webstore.

Just got my Vita yesterday BTW. Glad to join the family.

Edit. I had the PS4 version in my cart, decided to check out and try again, and it auto-added the ps3 and vita purchases.

it doesn't show up on my Vita with a price though. do i have to buy it from the online store first?

In the list view or on the detail page? Vita games are weird and don't always list a price on the list page, but if you tap their listing there should be price/download options

Feeling like I might splurge on some FF stuff. Never owned a PS1 so I've never played FF8 or FF9. Played a little of FF7 but never finished it. Plus Dissidia and FFIV:CC are also 50% off
You're in for a treat re FFVIII.

Imo, the best out of the PS1 era & in my personal top 5

The store won't even let me add Dragon's Crown to my cart. Says I'm not eligible to purchase it, I guess it's just the store acting up. Come on! I want my games :D

Checked the PSN Store again and Dragons Crown is now free for the Vita :). I checked the PS3 version on PSN too but for some reason I still have the "you aren't elgable to get this" error (which I got a while ago). Should fix itself latter on though :).

For someone who is an EU PSN user and has a dormant US PSN account as well, what are the steps to download the game from the US store via PC (don't have access to my PS3 this month)? Will my EU debit card be accepted? Then, when I download the game will it be playable both on my PS3 and PSP?

Sooooo many games. What to do, what to do. And I just got TLOU:RE and The Swapper. Hold me, I'm shaking.

Edit: Referring to Proteus, Metrico, Fez, and Road Not Taken all just becoming available! Already played and beat Fez at least. Own and didn't like Dragon's Crown

Also can't add Dragon's Crown, and I couldn't add Proteus on the webstore, but downloaded it fine directly from my Vita just fine.

As long as you are on your US Account of the device you are downloading the content to, then things will be fine :). For the PS3, you can remote-download PS3 games to the console at times you picked out (put the game in your download que, then the game starts to download at the time you told you PS3 too.

I have no idea on how EU credit cards work, so sadly I can't help you there :(.

As or the games, again, the PS3 and PSP can play games that aren't native to its core account as long as you downloaded the game logged in under the same account you purchased the game on. This is the case with the PS3 and I think that is the case for PSP to (I don't own one, so I can't tell if that is right or not, sorry :().

I hope this helps :D.

You can buy pre-paid PSN codes on amazon.com using your European card and a fake US address. Then you sign in on the PSN webstore to redeem your code and buy the games. And I believe every PSOne classic is playable on PSP and PS3, if you referred to them.
Just did this myself like 20 minutes ago.

Maaan, there is a spend 20€, get 5 back if you pay through Paypal on Spanish PSN... it's really tempting. But I want dat steelcase from Tales of Xillia. But I don't know if its worth 15€. Now that I see it written I think it's not worth 15€ at all.

I could get something could with that money...

Sweet, the Vita version of Proteus is up there too. From the announcements it sounded to me like it was only going to be on PS3. Month redeemed.

Oh, lvl 6 clubs/balls for HSG Vita. $0.99 for the clubs, $0.49 for the balls (as the other ones). Maybe I'll upgrade the ones I use with Kat (not that I really need to do so...)

Is this a new update that brings the NA/EU version of the game up to the Japanese version?

That's new. DC shows as $20, tap add to cart, get PS+ confirmation, click confirm, get logged out. Using the PS App (which is really the mobile store) Got the other freebies. Will just get it from the Vita store.

Too bad Road Not Taken hasn't been released for Vita yet. 5 games in one month would've been pretty epic, though I don't feel like complaining about 4 either

I get an error on my ps3. I do see it as $20 and it tells me it's free after I click in it.

battlefield premium is $31 for ps4 this week. I think that's a pretty good sale. Why isn't there a thread up for it? I think I might bite.

Edit: NM, I thought that was for the main game plus all the maps. That would be a deal.

Anyone else having issues trying to get the PS3 version of Dragon's Crown off the PSN store on PC? I keep getting an error where it says "You are not eligible to purchase or download this item".

I already grabbed the Vita version off the Vita's PS store.

Dragon'z Crown Vita is the one that's "free," correct? Maybe that's why you can download it on Vita just fine and the PS3 one asks for a price. I just got it on my Vita and am currently downloading Crysis 3 on my PS3. The download on my Vita was slow though compared to how Crysis 3 is doing; it's like 1/3 the speed at best on Vita.

They're both free

PS3 and Vita version are both free.

what is this game about? I want it!

Basically like if video game companies were nations, and their consoles were magical-girl esque things with...extremely strong and often stereotypical personalities. The purple haired girl is a theoretical Sega console avatar, the green one Xbox 360 ('Merican, hence boobs), the white one with blue hair is Wii. Lots of light hearted VN comedy focused stuff. Combat is kinda like Quest 64 (leveling system however is not)

cute and adorable console warz

game performs well on the Vita. Haven't notices any drops yet
Is it native resolution? Hard to judge off those compressed Vita shots.
And could you tell if you reach a boss later if there's boss health (not guard) regeneration in this? That stuff was infuriating in Victory.

Looks about on par with the PS3 games, res aside. Not the highest bar of course.

Is DC is cross-save?

Cross save and cross platform

Didn't only a few bosses do that? I'm pretty sure it was a boss design thing not an inherent component of Victory's combat design.
