I really hope it lives up to expectations. It's not a game that I was originally interested in, but I might try it.
That statue is awesome but I would pay REAL MONEY for a collectors edition with something like this to set on my desk...

As cool as this is and how I am a sucker for anything Master chief, you could skip this and just buy the posable NECA figure and save money.

I really wish they would start doing these editions but with digital codes rather than discs, give us options dammit!!
Bethesda should have gone that route with Wolf14's CE instead of just not including the game at all.

tl;dr
It really is a clever way to make a map book. At first I thought it looked a little goofy but when I thought about how I'd use it I realized how nice it would be to just set it on the arm of my lazy boy, coffee table or desk, flip through it during matchmaking to the map that gets voted in and then just use it as a glance reference in between deaths. Depending on how detailed it is it could be a really nifty tool to learn the maps or just freshen up on them since there are so many!
I also hope they do something like this for smartglass.
agreed, probably only the remade maps though. I want a book with the top down view of every included map. THAT would be amazeballs. Someone should make a website offering something like that...

No, and I don't expect we'll see it soon, or another collection. Halo:CE and Halo 2 were games two gens behind now and had their ten year anniversary. They decided to make it all 4 Chief games as a way to give more content for the bundle, make fans of the old games happy and also set up the story for the future, especially with nightfall included.
Reach is only 4 years old at this point, and while I really loved the game myself, a lot really hated the campaign. I doubt we'll see any remaster of it anytime soon, at best we might see a digital release down the line this Gen but it's doubtful.
How long does it take to just make a straight 1080p port of reach? Imagine halo reach mcc dlc for 20 bucks. It just adds into the system. Everyone would love this, and I reckon it wouldn't take too much work. if they can do h1a h2a h3 h4 for 60, they certainly can add reach for another 20 into the mix

The way I do it I don't actually move much of my hand/fingers at all. I just bend my index finger into a hook shape so that it hovers over the buttons.

I don't think its a bundle by 343. Seems to be something put together by the retailer.
Probably a similar amount of effort as either Halo 3 or Halo 4 as the engines are all different.

I was thinking the exact same thing.
£160 is way too much to spend on a game, regardless what comes with it.
I'll just stick with my own little Master Chief (he was only £8)

So skulls are pre order now? How does that work? In Halo 3 you could just find the skulls they are giving away for pre order.

After few months it will be available for everyone. And everything else is still the same, you can collect skulls in Halo 1-3. This is an additional skull.

I agree. I'm buying Halo MCC in digital for sure ! It will be a game that will be played a lot and in the future, so having it in the hard drive is very convenient.
I like these limited editions but it comes with the game on disc which i don't want.

Hey Reach was not awful. The campaign was fun as hell. Multiplayer wise I'll give you it was not as good as other Halo games. However the multiplayer was still fun when you removed the armor abilities. Bloom I could take or leave. Never understood the hate it got. But yea Reach was far from awful.
