That's how I see it. It might stem off some people but I still think there's a good amount that's gonna pick the console. XONE owners who have completely resigned themselves to the PC will probably give you a thumbs up if anything. It is, for those that have gaming PCs.
It's not going to change the mind of your average consumer who (if they even consider it) could pick between building a gaming system or buying a $400 (or cheaper) system in the future.
Nintendo and the rest of Japan.Frankly I'm not sure why anyone with a capable PC that enjoys PC gaming would be buying on console to begin with.
Looks like Crytek gave up trying to protect Xbone's resolution perception.

don't most games make equal or more amount of money from PC than other platforms?
no one asked for this.
wait... someone really care? smh.
Sweet!
I guess it will be available on steam?
You could've said the same for other remastered games that didn't sell anything close to the originals and didn't noticeably move hardware. Final Fantasy X/X-2, Wind Waker HD, etc.
There's a trend here that shouldn't be ignored.
Halo MCC isn't coming to PC. At least not this year. MS is going to sell a ton of ones with that game, even more than Titanfall did.
It just wouldn't make any sense at all, having Every Halo MP ever on PC.

You don't understand the draw of Halo then.
It's some of the best games ever, including the best console MP ever by all accounts, playable again.
So is this game at least fun in a get drunk and play it in one go type of way? The videos make it seem so... Boring.
Really? Color me surprised. Could be part of a move by Microsoft to put some of their biggest games (*cough* Halo MCC *cough* on PC).
Looks like evidence that MS has made an internal decision to give up on the Xbox One. They'll cash in as much as they can, make up as many losses as possible with minimal expenditure, and put on a brave face for any potential buyers of the Xbox division (although I can't imagine there would be many...or probably any), but they're no longer going to make big investments in exclusive stuff and they're no longer going to try to seriously compete in the market. If you're buying for future potential, I really wouldn't recommend getting an Xbone at this point.
Anyways, it'll mean I'll be able to play most of the worthwhile "exclusives" without buying the console. Looking forward to Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive, and MCC on the PC!
Just kiddin around
If someone mods the combat to remove the slomo in finishes the game wont be so dreadfully annoying.
Wow, I'll wait for a steam sale, but at least now it'll run at a solid framerate and at least 1080p. I'm honestly surprised, between this and Dead Rising 3. Wonder why MS is loosing their exclusives.
This is exactly why having a strong first party is important. At this rate, the only exclusives will end up being their usual Halo/Gears/Forza cycle. I wouldn't be surprised (well, not anymore now that they've lost Ryse, DR3, PvZ and likely the Titanfall franchise) if QB hits PC eventually (Like Alan Wake before it), same for SO.
So yea, MS, get to working on your first party. It's about time.
Microsoft published, correct? Less than a year but a good amount of months after release seems like a release schedule I could get behind if they continued it.

Wow. Truly surprised by this.

Yea I saw that, my bad. Guess they finally came to terms with the IP then?On PC? Incorrect, in the OP.
