The wordings awkward though. Unless the title is making fun of some engrish mistake in the new Mario Party? Why isn't it "Welcome to Bowser's game" or "Welcome to the Bowser game"? Adding the "the" and the apostrophe just looks like a mistake on the part of whoever wrote it, unless there's a joke I'm missing.

A huge assumption there.

It's SmashGAF's faults for arguing about titles for threads so moderator got tired of it, so he decided to make a thread title for our thread.

I can see that, but the poll doesn't always work the way you would want it to. The most recent poll ended up in a deadlock between two choices which no one seemed to want - everyone was complaining that the two winning choices sucked and that the best one was left excluded from the runoff.

People complained when there was no poll and Heath alone made up the subtitle, and people complain when there is a poll and the voting doesn't go their way. You can't win.
 
So we replaced a dated Takamaru joke with an even more dated Bowser joke.

We've had a lot of Pokemon pics recently. C'MON JIGGLYPUFF

I thought the castle one was dumb too. I didn't even make a suggestion and i thought the best one was the FYI I'm an Assist Trophy one.
 
So, today I was reading through HG101 and I was wondering...

Anyone ever thought about doing a Smash Article for the site? I mean, Smash is well-known, but I think an article that gives a general overview of the series and characters, as well as pointing out some of the lesser series that are represented and making it a balance between informative, casual, and competitive information, would be neat.

I actually started to write one but then I realized it was quite an undertaking since you also need to provide screenshots from each game, which I don't have any clue how to do.
 
The only person who should be running a poll for a new thread title is either Intelliheath as he's the one who always makes the threads, or a mod like emcee who has the power to change a thread title after the thread is posted.

That's why the best choice on the poll was totally "Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child": it's topical and it's a clever (American) cultural reference. But it only got one or two votes :/
 
I'm practicing DACUS with G&W in PM. I can do it but not consecutively. I remember doing it 3 times in the row. What's your advice on performing DACUS? What's your recommendation on a control scheme to perform DACUS well? I know practice makes perfect and timing is important too.

"Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child" is a traditional American spiritual, and the Earthbound reference is obvious. I thought it was funny, but I admit that it doesn't have the broadest appeal: the reference is a little obscure, and rather culturally-bound for a community with people from all over the world.
 
The only Metroid stage we've seen is Pyrosphere
and we don't even know much about it :-D
and that's disappointing.
 
Sakurai needs to do a troll update, a pic of "FUCKING NOTHING" of 4 random characters standing around on a random stage, only make the characters 4 unconfirmed veterans like Ness, Ganondorf, Wario, and Ice Climbers on an unconfirmed stage and not address it or add those characters to the website at all.
