Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U Thread 12: Gwah, hah. Welcome to the Bowser's game.

Currently looking online for some Smash Bros related posters for the new apartment... The search leads to less results than you might think for such a big property. Any suggestions smash gaf? I'd honestly love something like the N64 cover blown up to a big size...And don't get me started on how hard it is to find anything punch-out related :/

Poor guy, so much pressure caused him to snap

Oh, neat! Who do you write for?

But yeah, I hear you. I'm a copy editor by trade and part-time "game journalist" (whatever that even means anymore) on the side, so stupidly bad spelling and grammar in games (and most anything else besides Internet forums, really) annoys the shit out of me. I feel your pain. :P
Nothing videogame-related. I've been a reporter for a state publication in the Midwest for the last five years. Mix of hard news and features. I've covered numerous social issues and won some SPJ awards on that front. I always feel like I'm helping people, which has made it a very rewarding career. Also nice being able to pick my own assignments and set my own schedule. More time for GAF! :)

Best part about being a comedian haha I only work nights and then I come home to see that sweet, sweet pic of the day!

I hope it's something fun to end the week with tonight. It feels like forever since we've gotten an end of the week bomb of awesomeness

Edit: Hard to beat last night though, I would think

ahh, that explains a lot. I always found your post very well put together, no matter how random the subject. I never could figure out how you consistently do it. lol. good stuff.

I'm in awe of comedians. So much psychological weirdness going on there: One guy on a stage, an anonymous crowd, the mob mentality where their reactions to the comedian snowball as they feed off each other's energy (for better or worse). I'm not sure how you deal with that kind of pressure... I'm especially impressed by comedians who avoid mean-spirited humor. I don't like jokes when they're at the expense of other people, although I suppose self-deprecating humor by the comedian is OK. :-)

Ah, that could've been my life! I was once a journalism student, but I gave it up (and with it any hope of employment haha) for a degree in philosophy.

Anyhow, I'm feeling Ice Climbers tonight. With all the groundswell for Ganondorf and Wario, I have a feeling Sakurai's going to catch us off-guard.

Pikachu LIKES yellow journalism though

:lol He does like shocking reports.

Well, it's not that bad date but I have a feeling that it's more likely to be November 21 tho.

I agree. More likely to be right before the Black Friday weekend. But how great would it be if Sakurai said, "You want veterans for Post of the Day? Fine. November 11 launch date. Veteran's Day." And then he drops the mic and takes a picture of it on Miiverse.

Snake is the veteran that would make me happiest. It's no contest. I'd be ecstatic.

Not letting myself get my hopes up, though. One would think they would've shown him by now, for marketing purposes, if he were in the game.

Then again, a small part of me hopes that maybe, just maybe, they're saving Snake for one more last-minute wave of hype.

Was wondering who was the guy dead guy...then I saw the board on the wall with the pictures. Fox has a X over his face....and the dead body is wearing red boots.....OH GAWD.

Here's a higher-res version. You can see his hand and his tail, bahaha.
