Didn't he enjoy SoL as well or am I not remembering incorrectly? I know he doesn't share the love for 1 or 3 though. He also liked Revengeance too for what it's worth. He tends to lean towards the games that go overboard with the "...what?" for that reason alone.

Either way, Dan is a welcome addition when it comes to the series specifically. Everybody else just kind of sees it as a joke at this point. He genuinely loves it for what it is.

It's actually perfect in a way.

Crash 3 was filled with too many lame gimmicky levels instead of the platforming stages that made the series great in the first place. That demo pretty much says "you'll be doing this instead of what you want for most of the game" upfront.

He mainly likes 2 because of the way fans of the series got angry over it. Watching the world burn and so forth.

I'm watching the Demo Derby video.

I want an Endurance Run of the entire Metal Gear saga with Drew and Dan. I need this to happen. Dan's giddy excitement and Drew's fascination with everything batshit about the franchise makes me super happy and wanting.

It needs to happen.

That would be the longest thing ever. I'd get behind, say, a Twin Snakes Endurance Run. But playing MG1, MG2, and MGS 1-4... Way too much. Everyone would get sick of it.

Yep was changed for man markets Including here in Germany:

For some non-American releases, references to Taco Bell were changed to Pizza Hut because the latter had a much larger share of foreign fast food markets in the early 1990s. This includes dubbing, plus changing the logos during post-production. Taco Bell remains in the closing credits. In the Swedish release the subtitles still use Taco Bell while the sound and picture has been altered as above. The original version released in Australia (on VHS) contained Taco Bell, yet the newer version on DVD was changed both in logo and dubbing to Pizza Hut. (In the scene where the restaurant patrons are looking through the glass window to the fight scene outside, "Taco Bell" can be seen etched into the glass, even in the modified version.)

I think they should make drew play them. But we just have weekly check-ins like Dan's WoW videos.

So every week we get some cool boss fight/drew tries to explain the plot again. Dan gets excited.
 
Demo Derby is great.

I hope people send in every demo disc ever. Site has been lacking good features like this for too long.

My theory would be that the ADR was just too obvious for native English speakers and that's why they didn't change it for you. We don't have Taco Bell and I have still not been to any other EU country that has Taco Bell.
 
What!? Dan has never seen Demolition Man? Its part of the must-watch trifecta of 90's sci-fi along with Starship Troopers and Fifth Element! In some areas of the country I believe it is required by law that you must watch those three movies every time they come up on TV.

Well, it might not be required by law, but I do it anyway.

That is the long term plan. PS Now is essentially PS5 in a few years time.
