Even though there are a few newcomers left I'd love to see, honestly my biggest hope is that we get a revamped Ganondorf. I'd even be happy with no more newcomers as long as there were no more than 2 cuts and we had a completely redone Ganondorf.

I'm imagining it's going to be like Flat Zone or Pictochat. Hopefully stages based on classic games load in.

I'm actually bummed to think that this stage won't be on the Wii U version. Safe bet the Wii U will get an NES stage or something similar.

Speaking of exclusive stages, has anyone entertained the thought that some of the 3DS stages could come to Wii U as DLC?

Like I said in the other thread, I'm almost certain that there is no filter over the fighters - just look at Dedede's hammer. He just specifically picked Kirby and Dedede since they're the only characters with GB colored alts.

It's not filter. Kirby and Dedede had gameboy color alt in Brawl, and It's back in Smash 4! You can tell by looking at Dedede's Hammer since Hammer isn't in monochrome.

To be honest, I would think All Brawl Veterans + Smash 4 Newcomers would be amazing roster. Yeah, I don't like to see people losing their mains/favorite characters.

If it does, the Startup Screen would have to be the Famicom Disk System with its iconic music, then cycle through Disk System games.

No idea about that but I just always thought she was cool from the minute I saw someone using her as a forum avatar. When I later found out she was in both the pokemon episodes and games as a dragon-trainer in addition to being the final battle with possibly the most sparkly, up-beat tune of all the champions... well, that was just icing on the cake :3

Oh don't get me wrong, I don't want Lucas to replace Ness. Ness was my main all the way up to Brawl and he's still my second main. I just see no reason they can't keep them both.

Heh, the only trouble I have at first glance is that none of the down-Bs really grab me, but it's a bit early to say that with any real conviction and I can see myself trying to find ways to get the counter to work anyway just because I'm usually pretty good at reading opponents :3

I'd be 100% okay with that. The series is my favorite series but I don't necessarily think we need a third rep, although I would love it. I just don't want to lose what we already have.

For the stage, I think Tetris is the obvious choice.

Tetris may seem obvious, but it is a third party title in regards to the Tetris licence. So while Nintendo owns the rights to the GB game they'd still have to get permission to use it. I mean I don't think it's that hard since they were allowed to release it on VC and even had permission for the music in Brawl (despite being public domain, the Tetris Company holds the rights for videogame appearances). Luckily there are other puzzle substitutes Nintendo can use like Dr. Mario.

As others have pointed out, there is no filter. If there was then how would one be able to tell their colours apart?

I was gonna say they should use the inspired design of Ninten from the Mother commercial, but I guess that was never an official thing.

Lucas was my Brawl main, but I'll understand if he gets cut. I suppose his move set could be recreated with Ness' alt moves. It'd be a shame to lose him though, I love the character's design.
