I wonder how much of a mindfuck it would be for the Smash community if a Tales of _____ character made it in and their patron stage was Final Destination in light of that battle background reference.
I'd love a Tales of Xenoblade character. Shulk would be great.

This is the dumbest reason to believe why I think Shulk is in, but the reason why I think he is playable is because we haven't seen any sort of Xenoblade content yet in the game, and we have seen stuff as recent as Dillon's and Wonderful 101 trophies.
Because unlike Rhythm Heaven, Fire Emblem, Donkey Kong, Metroid, Zelda and other series, where content such as the Sneaky Spirit, Arena Ferox, etc could hint (and hinted in some cases) at a character from those series, those series have enough games and characters to drawn from where there's not a "shoe-in, surefire" bet character. to the point where showing those thing would lead us to know exactly which character from that series is getting in.
I feel like if we were to see any sort of Xenoblade content that doesn't deconfirm Shulk right away (i.e a trophy/AT) then that would mean that for me that Shulk is in cause him being the main character of the only (so far) game in his series, means Shulk is the only candidate.
So I like to think that Xenoblade content is not being shown at all cause the development team/sakurai reached the same conclusion.

It was over if Zelda's Phantom was a move or an AT. I automatically assumed the latter because I thought there was no chance in hell they were cutting Sheik if they didn't in Brawl. I did not foresee them spinning off the transformation characters.

My post was a parody of those ads for "special" episodes of TV where one of the characters would die. They'd show almost all the regulars in the ads, but they'd also include one unimportant side character and/or that weeks special guest star, and that's usually who bit the dust.

Yeah, I want to get in a habit of not changing my avatar, as I feel like people go by avatar almost more than usernames; only reason I changed mine was so I wouldn't seem like I was yelling "GENO FOR SMASH!@!#" every time I post. I know I'd freak out if PadWarrior was anything other than a controller of some sort.

Why do you guys bitch about too many sword users and then want Ganon in with a new moveset that gives him a sword? If anything, I want Hyrule Warriors Longhairnondorf with his classic trident. I'm not a huge Zelda fan in the first place - not in the sense that I don't like it, but I never really played any of them because I'm more of a sci-fi dude - but I mained Ganondorf in Brawl. I mainly want the trident and him to get an SSB4 depiction along the lines of what he looks like in that huge-ass vertical fan mural of the Zelda chronology:

I don't know why, but for some reason Homestuck grabbed me in a way no other "franchise" really ever has - I picked it up while I was out of school for a few days (about a month before the Gigapause announcement), and managed to blow through the entire thing over the better half of about four days. So, basically, all of its content in one go save for the handful of panels that got added leading up to the end of A6A6I2. Only things I skipped were the more technical bits in flash games, a conversation between Dave and Jade in Act 3, and one or two expositional pesterlogs during the Doc Scratch info dump leading up to Cascade. I was actually surprised with the brevity of it all, albeit I didn't realize the pacing was so random. I was expecting way more required reading along the way with how much people complain about "oh you have to read like 300 pages before it gets good," but people don't realize a page is basically a single comic strip panel with some technobabble and pop culture references thrown in. With the MSPaint Adventures wikia and a few tidbits from tumblr, it all went pretty full-circle. I never had any problems with it.
All of that sounds terrible...

Homestuck Kid for Smash. With the way the character sprites work you could basically have 16 alt-skins without having to worry about major moveset reworking.
